Great boots
I bought a pair maybe five years ago. They’ve been my favorite. I’ve worn them pretty hard. They’re comfortable and stylish, but also hold up really well against water. Only snag was that there was a bit of sole separation at the toe early on but it hasn’t gotten worse since. Still five stars.
Worth it
One of the best shoes I have ever purchased. You truly get what you pay for. One downside is that the laces require some improvement. They are thin and not long-lasting.

I take my footwear seriously because I don’t have a car and I do a lot of walking and working on my feet. I gotta say these boots really impress. Nice comfort and rugged feel. I haven’t worn them in the snow yet but I’ve gotten through a few rainy days with completely dry feet. I wear 11.5 shoes except usually 12 works best with all Columbia and Sorel footwear. That’s what I got with these and they fit perfect with my feet when I wear medium thick wool socks. When I were normal crew socks I just lace them a bit tighter and they still fit perfect.
Redesigned in 2022, no longer a SOREL boot, more of a Columbia boot
Boot was redesigned in 2022, not as robust as previous design. Not a fan of the sole and “SOREL” printed all the way across. Boot is much liter than previous versions, not in a good way. This is my 5th pair purchased, have purchased the same pair each year for the past 5 and have really enjoyed the others. I’ve just had this pair which I reluctantly kept instead of returning. After a few weeks of wear there have been no quality issues. Note too that this tobacco color is much lighter color and leather has a very different, cheaper feel.
Quality issues
Great fitting boot and very comfortable. However, I own three pair of this style and they all have separation of the tread from the sole of the boot. I have tried to re-glue them but they just don't hold. They need a better design with some stitching or something better to hold them together. It's a shame to pay so much for a pair of these, much less three pairs and have them all fall apart. Love the company and have seven different pairs of Sorel. They need to work on this one.

Short term boot
Purchased in May of 2021. It is not Nov 11 2021. At first i loved the boots. Super comfortable, even had compliments from customers. I work indoor, business casual work attire so they’re not getting beat up or anything. The soles wear out pretty quick compared to other boots i’ve owned. At only 5 months the front of the sole is peeling off. Very disappointed with the longevity especially considering the cost.
Stylish and Comfortable
One of the stylish and most comfortable shoes I have bought. Highly recommend. Ordered my regular size and it fits well.
Its like wearing a shoe. Foam soles wrapped with soft rubber. So soft i worry about the tread not lasting super long. Have seen where it unglues on others boots. I like them because they are waterproof and look nice. Been wearing them to the shop. Comfy

Good Boot--But Newer Model is more Narrow
I purchased a pair over two years ago and I loved them so much I recently purchased two additional pairs. What I noticed is that the boots have become observably narrower in the intervening year-plus. It isn't a deal-breaker, since the leather will stretch and fit to the foot. However, the initial comfort level of the newer boots is substantially less than the older models. I will note that I don't have a wide foot (never worn wide fit in my life), but I do enjoy wider toe boxes and tend to wear boots with thicker socks. That is less of an option with the newer models.

Warm, stylish and comfortable snow boot
I have a pair of the Sorel Caribou boots, which I also love, but they are bulky and my wife forbade me from wearing them to any restaurant. So I needed another pair of winter boots that were also fashionable enough to wear on the plane or out to dinner. These chukka boots are perfect for that. They look great with jeans and are warm and incredibly comfortable. I wasn’t able to tell how good the traction is since there was no snow or ice at Park City. And I do wish they had a loop at the back top of the boot to help you pull them on, but that’s a minor issue.
