Great for long torsos
I’m 6 ft 220 and the Xl fits like a dream. I have a really long torso and most rei brand stuff or Patagonia is great the the arms and chest but too short in the length. Fuego fits like a dream. I’m a convert. It’s the perfect Bay Area vest, too. Not too crazy warm and not a shill of a vest. I love it

Fit is ridiculous
I purchased a XXL after trying an XL on in store. The XL was a bit snug so I figured the size up would be perfect. The size up made no difference in fit. If you don't fit Cotopaxi's ideal of what an active body is, you can't wear their products. I look forward to the day they actually size their products to be inclusive of all shapes and sizes.

Super light, comfortable and warm

My husband loved it!! The quality is great and very warm. It is perfect for traveling because it is light and comfortable. The colors are much nicer than the photos. The size is accurate if you take the measurements that they have in their chart, my husband usually is XL but according to the chart he is XXL and it fits perfectly.

Nice vest but not very sturdy

I had this vest for less than four months before I it ripped in two places. I have never owned a piece of outdoor clothing that was so delicate. For perspective, I have a Marmot Parbat Parka for over twenty years and it has never ripped at the seams. I would recommend the REI brand over this really nice but very delicate vest.

Good all around vest

This vest transitions well between front and backcountry, although I personally loved it as a front country/ casual piece. Not so many features that its a hassle for normal everyday wear, but functional enough to take on adventures. Fits true/perhaps a little slim.

Fuego Down Vest - Men’s (review)

Comfortable and keeps the core warm. I took it up to Mammoth Mountain for snowboarding on opening weekend as my second layer (first layer was the Monte Hybrid Jacket in the matching Bronze/Maritime colors) and kept me very warm and not too heavy with the outer jacket I had on. Plus I’ve been getting a lot of comments on the colors and where I got it (free advertising, you’re welcome!) Been pairing it with long sleeves/hoodies for that extra bit of core warmth. Awesome jacket, medium fits me well as I’m a 38R on the shoulders. One of my best purchases for outdoor wear in a long time.

Love the colours!

I've been receiving compliments all day on this jacket, and I'm a big fan of variegated things! Initially, this vest didn't keep me warm, but once I got moving and produced heat, it really trapped in the heat and made me sweat. It's probably not a great idea to wear to strenuous activities, like a hike, but in between pickleball matches, it got the job done tonight. My only gripe with this vest jacket is that it's bulky in the mid-section, so there's a lot of space around my waist. If you like a loose fit, then this is for you! However, for me and my build, this vest jacket has a lot of space. Good news is that it is comfortable, though!

Happy Customer

I stumbled across Cotopaxi when researching to replace an old North Face vest for an upcoming trip. I was looking for something a tad retro. I live outside of the US, so it is not a brand that I was familiar with. Price was a significant motivating factor, and picking up a vest on sale at a reasonable price was the trigger as it is only something I use once or twice a year as I live in the tropics. After reading many reviews, I was concerned about the size being too small, but there seemed to be a lot of inconsistent reviews based on people's height and weight. But I'm happy to report no such issues—great vest for the price—a satisfied customer.

Return

I have attempted to return a vest and have sent 5 emails with zero response. Strange story. Ordered the medium and it was too big. Exchanged for a small and it was too small. Because the order number no longer exists (original exchange shows already returned) there is no way to actually use the system to do it. When i reached out they responded but didn't fix it and now they just ignore me. I have literally sent 6 emails now without a response. Its really too bad. I have bought a lot of their product and love it. But, if they cant even respond to me i will tell anyone that i am unable to recommend them as a company. Really a shame.
