Sizing Notes
Measurements are stated in inches unless otherwise indicated. Size chart values represent body measurements, not garment measurements. Some women's pants are available in petite and tall sizes. Typically petite sizes fit women 4'11" to 5'3". Regular sizes fit women 5'4" to 5'8". Tall sizes fit women 5'9" to 5'11".
PETITE: Generally, as compared to regular sizes, petite sizes are 2.5 inches shorter in inseam, 1 inch shorter in body length, 1.25 inches shorter in sleeve length and ¾ inch shorter in total rise.
TALL: tall sizes are 3 inches longer in inseam, 2 inches longer in body length, 2.5 inches longer in sleeve length and 1.25 inches longer in total rise.
Capri or cropped pants have an intentionally shorter inseam—reference the technical specs instead of this chart.
Inseam is measured to the floor.

Great in low temps
Love these pants very much. I wore them in 12 degrees for many hours and was perfectly warm as I snowshoed.
Solid Snow Pants
Solid choice for snow pants. Runs a bit on the large side, but adjustable. I tried them on in store and went with the medium size. I have worn these pants a few times while downhill skiing and snowshoeing this season and don't have any complaints! I have found them to be the right amount of warm for me in the 20s-40s F. I would have loved to have seen a brighter color choice than the blue or black (hot pink, red, bright orange) but the price was too good to pass these up.
Perfect for the slopes!
Comfortable pair of snow pants designed for on-site customization. I love that there are velcro straps at the waist so I can adjust the fit without having to rely on a belt ot suspenders. There are vent pockets inside the legs, just be aware that they do not have mesh or any fabric so your legs are directly exposed to the conditions. Your legs keep warm in these pants, so having the option to cool down with the vents is helpful. If you're on the petite side like me, these pants will run a little long but it should work out with a pair of ski boots on.
Functional and good fit
The velcro to adjust the waist makes these fit well. Rise isn't too high. They're a good fit and work well over both base layer/leggings and regular pants--I can pull them on for a walk at lunch or after work when it's really cold or rainy. They're more heavy duty and seem pretty waterproof and wind resistant, though I haven't sat in the snow in them yet. I'm 5'7" and got the short length (slightly shorter than ideal, but I think the regular would have been too long).
Great snow pant
Very warm and comfortable snow pants. I use them for snowshoeing.
Cheap zippers
Although these pants are well constructed in most ways, the thigh vent zippers are incredibly cheap and have never stayed closed. It’s disappointing in what is otherwise a solid ski pant. Will end up using safety pins to hold zippers closed.
Good quality snow powder pants
I love my new snow powder pants. The lining kept me warm in the snow. They fit loosely so I can wear a base layer and stockings. I LOVE the golden- mustard color!!!!!! The quality is excellent. I am very happy with my purchase!
runs small through hips
I normally wear a Medium, but I had to size up to the large, because they were too small in the hips. While the mediums fit, they didn’t allow for comfortable full range of motion for snowboarding.
Good quality material. Tough to maneuver.
Material is good and the initial fit is comfortable, but it's hard to really move your legs alot. Right below your groin the entries to the legs are constrictive to movement at the top of the thigh. You notice it immediately when lifting a leg. More room around the thigh or a 5 panel design would fix it.
Nice Pants!
I just got these to replace a 22 year old pair of snow pants that I use for shoveling the roof, volunteering at ski races (standing around, working at aid stations, or dragging fencing and other stuff around in the stadium area) and occasionally doing trail work in wet snow. So far, they’re great! I ordered several pairs of pants and bibs, of different brands, and the REI Powderbound stand out as feeling like a more durable fabric, as well as fitting better. My only nitpick would be the waist adjustment (Velcro on an elastic strap) - could be better, but it’s okay. I’m 5’-6”, roughly 175, with short legs in relation to my height, and I sized these in order to fit extra layers underneath for standing around in the cold. The XL are too long for me (as anticipated), but don’t quite drag on the ground when wearing boots, so they’ll be fine. I can comfortably fit two thin layers underneath, plus a thicker fleece layer. With the two layers, I will probably wear a belt, because they are a bit roomy (but not sloppy). I like the rise on these pants, because they come up just a bit higher than some others, and feel “right” - they sort of pop up over my hips and sit at just the right spot. When bending and squatting, they do pull down lower, and gap a little, but nothing like others I tried on. They also give me free range of motion, and don’t bind anywhere. I like the higher rise (or rather, NOT low rise) so my shirt will stay tucked in and prevent drafts. The legs are a little bigger around at the bottom than I’d prefer, but these are designed as snow pants for downhill skiers, so I get it. They do their job, and have the inner gaiter. I do think I will miss the Velcro tabs at the bottom of my old ones, to cinch them up, but I don’t know if that’s a thing anymore. The articulated knees are nice! Good pockets, although the lower one on the right thigh is a little awkward and hard to fit my hand in. I haven’t tested the waterproofness yet. The insulation is nice, but not real thick, so the extra layers will be needed for standing around. I debated about a real pair of quilted work pants or bibs, but decided this would be more versatile. I’m a cross country skier, and these would be far too warm for that. Maybe for snowshoeing with the dog on groomed trails in really cold conditions. They are quite windproof. I was actually looking for bibs, and also ordered the bib version of these. At the sale prices, I decided to keep both versions, for the price of a different brand of bibs (not top of the line) that didn’t fit as well and weren’t as durable. Actually, I tried 2 other brands of bibs and 1 other brand of snow pant. These pants (and the bibs) are way better (to fill MY needs) than any of the others I tried. These may not have every bell and whistle known to man on a pair of snow pants, but they have everything I need, fit nice, and look cute, all for a great price.
