My new goto Vest
I purchased this vest to replace a 10 year old much loved vest that I managed to lose. I selected this style because it didn't scream it's brand, and it looked like it fit snuggly, which I believe is important in a vest. I ordered the XL- I'm 6'3" and 205 pounds - and it fits me perfectly. I also ordered the dark blue because the trim and the vest were very close in color vs stark contrast which while stylish in the moment, doesn't age well. If something fits well and looks good, I'll wear it till it begins to fall apart. This has become my go to vest. It fits well and it looks good. I like the collar and the trim details. The Kuhl logo is very subtle, about 3/4 of an inch high and located between the shoulders on the back. Even so, I carefully removed it - which was easy since it was sewn on. I'm not a brand billboard type.

Great For One Season
I was looking for something that would provide core warmth, breathe well and move moisture as I exerted myself in the snow. This vest was perfect for one season, then it quickly became a hundred-dollar rag. After a year, REI has no obligation, and Kuhl will tell you that "normal wear is not a defect." I have found this to be true of Kuhl products in general: they're great for about a year.

Great vest for casual wear and skiing

Had this vest now for 2 years. I’m 6’2” and 150 lbs and got a small. I always struggle with clothes because if it fits around my torso then it’s usually too short but a this in a small fits me perfectly - snug around my torso and still comes down low enough to cover my waist. I wear it at home, around the office, and skiing under a shell. After 2 years of heavy use the fleece is starting to pile a bit - it doesn’t have that crisp look anymore; but other than that it’s held up well and hasn’t yet shown signs of stretching out. Wish it wasn’t liking already (hence the 4 stars) but maybe that’s par for the course with acrylic textiles.

Great vest!

I was never a "vest" lover - after purchasing the Interceptr I am sold! The vest is very comfortable wearing with a long sleeve tee, or even long sleeve dress shirt. I also purchased, at the same time, the Kuhl Klash Jacket. Wearing the two together has kept me warm in 20F degree days, even with wind and snowy conditions. I travel internationally - mostly to Europe - and look forward to this combination (as well as a Khul Hoodie) since the three items are compact / lightweight, and fit in a backpack easily. To wrap up, I am very happy with the vest! Awesome product!

Almost the perfect vest.

Almost the perfect vest. I am 6'2" weight 210 lbs athletic build and the size large fits me like a glove, very form fitting and perfect in its length for tall people. My only complaint is that after wearing it, for 30 min, my neck developed some type of reaction to the material. As far as I now I am not allergic to anything, but the skin on my neck felt as if it became sunburnt. I tried it on a couple days later, and same reaction. Now I don't know if I should give it a wash and see if it goes away, or if I should give up and just return it to REI. The look, fit and feel is so amazing i am almost willing to have a irritated neck... Maybe its just me, maybe it would go away after a wash, but maybe its just too much money to spend on an item that makes you uncomfortable... I still need to decide.

Versatile Vest

To be honest, I am a big fan of Kuhl products and they always seem to work well for me. This vest was a recent gift and I am more than happy with the fit, quality and thickness of the fleece. Having four pockets is especially useful when nowadays one has to carry a phone, glasses, mask and other essentials. This vest layers perfectly over a T-Shirt, long or short or a dress shirt or even a sweater. A fabulously useful item of clothing.

Great Warmth for the Weight

Very lightweight. Great quality I've come to expect from KUHL. Almost as warm as a full jacket but much lighter. My first vest so not sure how it compares to a down vest for warmth, but it's working very well for what I bought it to do.

Versatile and Warm wtih a Slim/Snug Fit

Love it. Very well made, warm, and lightweight with a snug, athletic fit. Perfect for transition weather and for someone like me that gets overheated very easily with activity even in cooler weather. Unzipped, it allows you to cool your core rapidly. Fully zipped, with a long sleeve, it's as good as a jacket, but much more mobile. Could dress up or down with it.
