Great support and very comfortable
but not insulated, and the sole is not designed for ice, so not a cold season boot. Highly recommend it for warm weather use.

Comfortable But Cheap Materials
Pros: Super Comfortable Cons: Cheap exterior not worth the money! I have a pair of Oboz low hikers and love them, so I was really looking forward to wearing these all summer. You can imagine how disappointed I was when on my first wearing and my toe ever so slightly grazed a stone step, the exterior began peeling off!! Until Oboz decides to use proper material for these cute boots, do not waste your hard earned money. The 'nubuck' they use is as tough as rice paper. You have been warned! See photo- they look about twenty years old, when in fact they were only worn twice. If you are looking for bed slippers, these might work, but not if you actually intend to wear them outside. I am sending them back today.

Fantastic hiking (& all around) boot

I love these! I have Oboz winter hiking boots that have held up really well, so thought I'd give these a try. They are super comfortable, required no break in, and have great grip in wet conditions. They look nice enough to wear around town yet are durable& provide support on the trail. Would def buy again!

Comfy but scuff easy

I got these to wear to work and around town mostly. Also I wanted a warmer boot for winter walking. I think these are very comfortable and kept my feet warm in 40 degree weather today. I probably could have gotten a half size smaller for length, but I'm not sure if the width would have worked with thick socks. I also like the number of eyelets so I can control the fit of the shoe. The only thing I am a bit unhappy about is that they had marks on them before I even wore them. I got the grey, so maybe the marks don't show up as much on the brown. I won't be wearing these on the trail at all because I want them to stay decent looking for everyday wear.

AMAZING!! FAV SHOES I OWN

These shoes are seriously amazing! I've worn them all day long on multiple hikes and absolutely LOVE them. I've been wearing them for about 2 months now and they are holding up great. I usually wear between a 7.5 and 8 and bought a 7.5 and I'm so glad I did! They have stretched out a tad bit over time and are just dreamy. I also (accidentally) played 2 hours of basketball in them and my feet still felt great. They also don't show a ton of dirt or mud and clean off really easily. I have the Chipmunk color and it is soooo pretty - they match with everything and I get tons of complements. My sisters and my mom bought them after I did and are also loving them! Thank you Oboz!

Just Okay…

I tried on a couple other styles of the Oboz hiking boots in store and they fit and felt fabulous on my feet. I started looking online and saw that these were the same brand but half the price so I thought I’d give them a try. Well, they are not the same. They look really cute on and are much better looking than I expected but they do not feel the same. They lack the arch support and overall comfort that the more expensive models have. Unfortunately they will be returned. I wear a 7.5 and ordered an 8 which was perfect.

Most comfy shoes I’ve ever owned

I have owned these for a year. They’re the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned and all I need for PNW winter. Not sure about colder areas, but I suspect they would be great for a day hike on an average winter day where I grew up near colorado foothills. I haven’t tried jumping up and down in puddles with them but I haven’t had any issues with my feet getting wet on Oregon winter hikes. They are a little scuffed on the toes after a year of decent use, but I don’t anticipate need to replace them anytime soon and omg so comfy I don’t even care.

Poor Quality

This is the second pair of Oboz Bozeman Mid Boots I have owned (3rd pair of Oboz boots)…love(d) this boot/style. My first pair lasted 3 years before I needed my recent replacement...this new pair didn't last 3 hours. I just purchased these and wore them for the first time for a 6.5-mile hike…nothing strenuous and the toe had chunks missing, almost like the outside material just peeled off. I reached out to Oboz and got a reply "The Bozeman Mid is designed for casual everyday use, so the upper materials are not quite as durable as some of our dedicated hiking boots built specifically for trails. Inevitably, when leather comes into contact with surfaces like rocks and other trail features, scuffing can occur. While this may affect the appearance, it does not impact the fit or performance of the boots." Description in the YouTube Video with the product: "Inspired by the mountain lifestyle, this supportive mid brings all-day comfort and rustic style that fits in just about anywhere. Designed with a gender-specific fit, and recycled materials this versatile mid tackles all types of terrain from town to trail and everywhere in between" From the Oboz descriptions on the site, and their marketing/branding, there is no reason I would think these are not for a trail hike. Maybe it should be stated in the description "not for trails"..."or the outdoors". I had the same boot for 3 years...these new boots didn't last 3 hours. My Oboz before that pair was just as durable. The quality of the footwear has drastically declined...Oboz lost a customer today.

Cute, comfortable, NOT waterproof

I really liked these boots. I thought they were going to be my new go to for hiking/backpacking. Super light, very comfortable. However this last weekend's hike, we didn't have to walk in the rain but the grass was very wet. These are definitely not waterproof. The top mesh allows any kind of wet to get through. I was not walking through puddles either. The boots started to squish and get heavy. I had to wring out my socks, and it took two days and a boot drier to dry them out completely. I am glad our hike was only a day hike because I would have had a very difficult time drying my boots off on an overnight trip for the next day. I would have been miserable. I still like these enough to use when I know there is no risk of them getting wet. However sometimes it's hard to predict. I just hope I wasn't the only one who experienced this, and I received a faulty pair.

Deceptive advertising, poor quality, very comfy

I love Oboz hiking boots. I bought these on sale and did not expect them to be hiking boots, so writing a review with that in mind. They are very comfy, and I mostly wear them as sneakers and not hikers. I plan to buy another pair if I find them at a discount again. That being said, they are advertised with waterproof leather, however half of the shoe material is not leather and is far from waterproof. Expect to be very wet if you wear them in minimal wet weather. Advertising waterproof leather in this case is very deceptive. After six months of wearing them, the mesh material, which is the other half of the shoe material, is starting to fall apart. Poor quality and way overpriced at full price, although very comfy boot.

Excellent shoe

My favorite shoe! Lightweight, flexible, durable and water resistant. Yeah, it’s not waterproof but that’s ok. Love the look and comfort. I have a wide foot so I ordered a half size larger and it fits perfectly. Not too narrow in the toe and doesn’t slip at the back. Nice grippy sole.
