On my second pair and both the stitching has come loose on the side of the shoe Love the look and feel but I find it hard to buy another pair if I am going to have the same issue again

I thought these boots in July and it is now November 6th and the blue is already coming apart on the soles where it meets the leather and the tread is almost worn flat on the balls of the feet. They are comfortable and they will keep your feet dry but for the price I don't feel they are worth it. I might get 6 months out of these before they are trash. I am a truck driver who gets in and out of the truck a lot but I wouldn't say these are being used under harsh conditions. I would expect better from Merrell and these will probably be the last boots I buy from them.
I have owned 3 pairs of these... the rubber came off the toe ALL 3 TIMES. When it does, water comes in as nothing is then between your socks and the incoming liquid. I think it might be time to move on...

There's creases in the toe area on one and the other toe tip is not attached fully and falling off on the corner so it was cut ? personally after my online experience and now seeing my item i think it's safe to say this was a total waist of money I for one will not be a repeat customer nor recommend this brand to anyone. Just like all great named companies you pay for just that a name. Quality is no longer a priority
My feet got wet on many occasions since I bought them. Then I realized the shoes are supposed to be waterproof. It even says it on the side of the boot. Also, one of the hook eyelets broke at the very top where the laces wrap around.
they work well and are comfortable. but after 2 weeks of walking 20k a day they are falling apart. there is already a hole in the fabric of the inner heel. and the front of the shoe is starting to open.
We're sorry you are experiencing problems with your Merrells, Adam. Please contact the Merrell team at (800) 288-3124 or you can go to this link to start a defective product warranty claim: https://www.merrell.com/US/en/defectiveclaimform
These simply aren't as comfortable as my old pair of Merrell boots for long distances. Although the fit is nice and snug, the sole is seeming harder or the insole lacks sufficient cushioning. I've trudged thousands of miles in my old pair and would continue to do so were it not for a split in the sole that renders them useless for wet weather... but I can still slip them on to compare to the new pair or even continue to use them for drier hikes. The Vibram sole itself appears to be identical, down to the tread pattern, so I suppose something changed regarding the insole. The new boots are still "good"... just "...not as good as..." my old pair.
I bought these shoes in the fall of 2019. The sole is coming off,the heel is torn.I'm not happy with the quality! I do not recommend this product! And it all happened in six months! Disgusting!
I went on a light hike few days after trying them around the house for a few days. They were comfortable out of the box, light, flexible but solid. The leather uppers are a plus for me. It makes them easier to wear for travel, as they a look a little more like a shoe than a boot at first glance and they can be cleaned. The versatility makes it possible to travel light. It's my second pair of Merrell boots-that-work-like-shoes. The other pair was similar, with a lower profile, and they held up well for many years. These look like they will, too. Another attraction for me is that they feel snug on my narrow foot.
My second pair of Merrells. I’m nearly 67 years old and have always had problems finding the right shoes. These Moab Adventure midies are superb. No breakin period, very comfortable, great traction while hiking in mountainous terrain and there is plenty of room in the toe box. Perfect for me. After my first pair of Merrells, I promised myself that I would buy no other brand. As previously noted in another review, I did find that mine are not waterproof, as advertised, however, I would not trade my Adventurers for any other shoe. I highly recommend these.
