Great water bottle for trail running
Bought this water bottle and a few other models before a recent trail race. This bottle was replacing an Amphipod I bought in 2010 so their products last. There was actually nothing wrong with my old one, I just wanted to replace the plastic since it was so old. Rather than a bottle, the form factor of this unit is a bladder...Hydrapak to be exact and I really like it. Rather than a rigid bottle the bladder is soft and collapsible. This took a little getting used and I wasn’t sure I was going to like after just the first couple of runs but it has really grown on me. It is a little annoying to clean this unit bit I would say that holds true for all handheld running water bottle type situations.

Recommend the plastic version.
I needed a handheld for short runs (under 8 miles) and thought this might do the trick. It did not. You have to consistently cinch the handle as you drink and that is super-fidgety. The built-in thumb loop is a nice feature, but as I'm 5'6 and 140lbs, my hands are a bit too small for the bottle to ever really feel secure in my hand. I really like the sleeve though and will be replacing this flask-style bottle with the plastic bottle. I could only tolerate the flask for two runs.

Great bottle, but leaks.

I purchased this water bottle to bring with me on some of my medium-long runs. I like the handheld strap, the extra storage, and how the bottle shrinks as you drink. But since my first use, the bottle seems to leak quite a bit and soaks the sleeve during my run, which leads to some water drip during the run. It's still usable, but the leakage is frustrating, especially considering that it's advertised as "leak-free".

Large hand strap, water bottle slides out

Hand strap is very big and only adjusts slightly. Water bottle is collapsible bladder, so when the water bottle is anything but completely full it decreases in size, making the hand strap seem even bigger. Water will also pool to one side, and this tends to pull the water bottle out of the small bottom strap when running. Ended up having to fix it frequently and was more hassle than just holding a regular water bottle. This may not work for people with average/smaller sized hands

One of my favorite running purchases

I purchased this water bottle for a half marathon and it made all the difference in my run - I love everything about it. It’s so lightweight, several options for how to hold it, kept my water cool even as my hand and the weather warmed up, and the little zippered pouch can hold so much more than you’d think (though that means you’re carrying whatever you put in there so I also used a waist belt). I look forward to using this on my runs where I know I’ll want a little water. Absolutely recommend!

Great for 5k to 10k

I really hate the sound of empty water bottle, so this design is great. I used it the first time today, and the bottle does shrink as you drink. I like that the pocket fits my iphone X. I take 1 star off because the fit around my hand is not really tight. It was nice and soft and secured but I would like something that feels more snug.

Squishy

Nice and squishy bottle. Im fine carrying it in my hand but I wish there was a way to secure it sturdily to my jogging belt. As is, it kind of flops a bit. Should fit in the belt pouch fine though. Great hand feel. Kind of hard to dry out completely, which could bother someone. Doesn’t bother me though

Pretty good carrier

Glad I bought this. Easy to carry, but a bit large for my hands. Takes a bit to get it fitted well. Not perfect, so not 5 starts - a bit expensive, but still a solid water bottle for jogging.

Good for short hikes but leaks

Works well for short hikes of 1-2 hours. Nice to have a small pocket for keys, ID and a small snack. But the water bottle started leaking and I can't locate a replacement.

Probably better for those who have larger hands

Pretty good overall. Harder to grip as the fluid decreased in bottle, strap could be made tighter. Water does not slosh around so that’s a bonus!
