So far, so happy

First attempt, repairing a large nail hole through new mountain bike tire, went great. It was relatively easy to get the dart into the hole and seems to have plugged the leak wonderfully. I only have one real ride since but seems to be holding perfectly. WAY better than bacon strips!!

Sidewall hole? Plugged it

It did take a bit of patience but it got it done after stans sealant and a can of Vittoria "fix a flat" failed. The trick, I think is to make sure the tire has plenty of stan juice in it. If not, this plug might not work. The stans bubbled out for a minute and then everything fused together. I now keep my tires extra juicy since dry tubeless tires are a problem for both these plugs and keeping holes plugged in general.

These are not big enough for mtb, and road bike just ends up stripping the feathers but pushing the tip through (ending with the feathered part not going in).
