Gets the job done
Fits 3 adult bikes on my 2017 Chevy Colorado. Bikes were safe and secure.
Great for midsize trucks
This worked great on my new ranger. Had 2 bikes on a 4 hour trip and they did not move at all. However, if you have a larger size truck I would say this might not be for you because it likely won’t wrap all the way around the tailgate and could leave areas exposed to rub.
scratch scratch scratch
I received this yesterday, opened it, put it on my tailgate to insure proper fit and then removed and it left scratches all over the tailgate. I am glad this was just a fit up exercise and I did not leave it on to scratch down to the metal. Returned this morning.
doesn’t work
I wanted this to work because it’s minimalistic but unfortunately it just doesn’t hold the bike in place and it doesn’t have enough surface coverage to prevent scratches if the bike shifts around while the truck is in motion. The end result was my tailgate paint and bike paint getting scratched.
looks good but didn’t fit
The product over all looked pretty good, although the Velcro straps that hold the bike in place could be better and are inferior to the Yakima design. Problem is, I’ll never know for sure how it works as the pad wouldn’t fit over my 2019 Silverado tailgate. Returned.
