A comfort saddle

I easily qualify for the title of senior citizen. Due to my age comfort has become the primary consideration where bike saddles are concerned. The Ergon SC Core Prime Saddle is the most comfortable saddle I have had the pleasure of incorporating into my bike riding excursions. It is the rocker recliner of bike saddles. Very forgiving and offers a variety of well supported sitting positions. I highly recommend this saddle for touring, commuting and day ride pleasure excursions.

Excellent Saddle for Hybrid

This is an excellent, very comfortable saddle. I went to this Ergon SC Core from Brooks B67. the previous Brooks while being much better than the Giant stock saddle was never comfortable on long rides 15+ miles, it was ok for short rides of 5 to 10 miles. I stuck with the Brooks B67 leather saddle for 18 months bit never could fully break it in for long rides, even with cycling shorts. I was always really sore on rides of 25+ miles The Ergon SC core was comfortable right out of the box, even with street clothes.

Best saddle I've found

Comfortable for riding long distances in a moderate seating position (that is, slightly leaned forward). I've tried many saddles over the year and this is the most comfortable. Adequate seat width (205mm) for my 6'4" frame. After thousands of miles of riding the saddle still retains its comfort and shows no wear. Good padding, which is firm, does the job and is not too soft.

Best saddle after trying 6 others

After 6 different saddles for my ebike, this one is the keeper. Best fit with the longest rails allow me to move the seat back where I want and need it to be. I'm short a short guy at 5'7" and want to use a suspension seat post but they all require a 4" distance between frame and seat rails. Every other seat I tested came in at 3-1/2" and would not work. This saddle works! With the saddle set up some from the frame, it gives me a good toe on the ground while seated, I have 4-1/2" clearance. That will allow any of the popular suspension seat posts to be used if necessary. I am using a suspension seat post with internal spring and it might be enough with how this saddle flexes as I pedal; no flex in any of the others I tested.
