This bag is rated for comfort down to around freezing temps (0 degrees Celsius is the claim on the bag itself). I just got out of the Rockies where temperatures were around 40 Fahrenheit and I was absolutely freezing, even when wearing the pants and heavier button-up I brought with me. Usually shopping REI sales is a rewarding prospect but I definitely learned my lesson: don't skimp on a sleeping bag.
