These were my first pair of Chaco's. I will have to say, I like the support of the shoe. I'm a teacher and wore them for a day long event helping with Special Olympics and then standing on my feet for standardized testing. They were great! The only downside for me were the dual straps. I like the delicate look of smaller straps, but they are a little tricky to adjust to make them feel "just right". My daughter had warned me, but I opted for dual instead of single for looks. I'm sure a single strap would be easier, but with some help from my daughter on adjusting them, I'm beginning to get them "just right" for me.

For the price I paid for these sandals, I expected high quality shoes. Having only worn the sandals in the summer and just for walks around the neighborhood on paved sidewalks, the shoe lasted one year before the sole completely split in half. This is clearly a defect in the shoe and when I reached out to their customer support about the issue, they didn't reply for 2 weeks until I sent them a followup email, and they told me that I can send my shoe to them and pay $40 for them to fix the sole. What a joke - they want me to pay almost half of what I paid just to repair what was clearly a poor quality sole. I've never had shoes just split in half like that. Not only is the shoe about to split completely in half, but the straps feel like they are always way too tight around the big toe no matter how many times you keep loosening the straps. These shoes are garbage and so is Chaco's warranty and customer service. What a disappointing purchase.

2nd Pair that Split in Half

I bought these Chacos a little over 2 years ago after the sole on my first pair split in half. Chacos are really comfortable, so I bought this pair. Within the same timeframe, the sole cracked in half on this pair. Chacos cannot fix them when the crack extends through the footbed. I'm not scrambling over mountains and beating them up! I do occasionally wear them to kayak or wade in a body of water, but that's what these are made for! Otherwise, I wear them to walk the dog and do errands. I expect a shoe of this calibur to last longer, and while they are comfortable, I learned my lesson and will opt for a shoe with a vibram sole.

Love these!

So comfortable! It took me awhile to get all the straps figured out and properly adjusted before my first time wearing them, but once I did, they fit like a glove! I had previously tried a cheaper knock-off pair by Skechers, but had to return them as the heel strap kept slipping even at the tightest adjusting position. Then towards the end of summer I found these on clearance. I was hesitant after my last experience, but decided to try them. I am SO glad I did!! True to size. I always wear a half to full size down in sandals compared to shoes, and the size 7 actually fit, even though I wear an 8 in most shoes.

I cannot stress enough: DO NOT BUY

Listen, like you I was an avid Chaco wearer. I loved them! I got all my friends and family to purchase them! I was a Chaco superfan. HOWEVER, this company does not stand behind their warranty whatsoever. I purchased a pair of these sandals in 2017 and they have completely disintegrated on me...to the point where the strap is holding the shoe together. I paid for these shoes because the brand stands behind them. When I called I was told it was my own doing...and "normal wear and tear." I wore them for three summers. So disappointed. Please, save your money and go somewhere else. This brand does not support their customers or customer loyalty.

Super cute, tight big toe space...

This is my second pair of Chaco sandals after loving my first pair. I chose the strappier, more feminine ones. The are awesome, except the big-toe straps are a bit too smug. Maybe I have a fat toe, but, I seriously doubt it. If the toe wasn't quite THIS snug, I would give 5 stars. I can't just SLIP them on, I have to wiggle the straps and work my toe in. Once in, besides being tight, I have no related issues. I love the soles of these sandals, they are BEYOND dreamy!
