the vest is designed well overall, and is nice that it comes with flasks included - not the most intuitive pocket design though, and no central descriptions of the pockets. the main issue is that after just one singular use, one of the flask pockets ripped (see photos) - the bottom of the pocket came undone, which isn’t a terribly difficult problem to fix, but given the price point i would expect more durability
Best vest I’ve tried by far. Well thought out pockets/storage. The fit is amazing truly almost second skin. Materials are top notch, the feel is fabulous. It holds way more than described to. The soft flask/bottles that come with it are really awesome too, best I’ve used, easy to drink from without a nozzle extender. I can’t come up with but one little thing, no pass through on either shoulder strap for a hydration bladder tube. Other than that it’s pretty much perfect. I fumbled around with several others before spending the $ on this one which was stupid because this is hands down probably the best available vest. Just get this one first.
Line this vest. The fit is great and so is the comfort. The only thing I would change is having the bottles be able to hold more water and make the back more breathable as I sweat ALOT in my back with this vest compared to others, but it’s by far my favorite one,
I bought this about 3 weeks ago training in the hi-desert for a 1/2 marathon. I've used it so far on my longer runs of 6, 7, & 8mi with the included front hydro-paks and it's been a dream. I've only needed 1 of the 500ml flasks so far but I've been filling both to get used to what it will feel like. I was right on the line between sizes so I went up and that was definitely a good choice. I still have room to tighten it down, but it likely would not accommodate a jacket/vest very well if I'd chosen the smaller size. The pockets for gels, phone, car key etc have been nice. I haven't even gotten to use the back pocket options yet. I love it!
I purchased this pack because I wanted something that felt comfortable with the front bottles. I wear a 36DD sports bra and a 32H every day bra. I'm about 5'4" and 145 pounds. I previously ran in the Nathan Pinnacle size small. The small fits well. It's snug but easy to adjust with the bungie cord contraption in the front, and the snug fit keeps me from chaffing. I wore the pack during a 50 mile race and it didn't feel too hot or uncomfortable. There's a good amount of storage that works its way to the side of the pack, and the pouch on the back is enough space for backup snacks, a phone, and a ziplock bag of toilet paper.
Took this out for a test on a 20 mile trail run, performance was excellent. Filled both flasks and fit gels and extra hydration powder in the front pockets, didn't have anything in the back but saw others with the same vest who stuffed jackets and had trekking poles, they said it was comfortable. The vest didn't bounce much at all, i had it cinched up pretty tight but loose enough i had a breeze through it. The water in the bottles sloshed alot but it didn't bother me. The vest was super comfortable, breathed well and did what i needed it do do. 10/10 recommend.
Was looking for a new hydration vest and came across this one as it had good reviews. The reviews are legit! I’ve used it now for approx 150 miles of running and it’s been exactly what I’ve needed. Two hydration pouches, with room for another sleeve in the back. There is plenty of storage for nutrition and salt tabs, and further storage in the back for any other items you might want to take with you. I can shed clothing/hats/gloves and stuff them into the back. I was worried about the vest riding smoothly while running, and this one sits really nice, doesn’t rub, and doesn’t feel bulky or cumbersome to carry. Would recommend. The sizing chart was spot on for my size as well.
I demoed this vest at a group run and I knew I had to have it! Trying it on was very helpful for determining my size and I definitely recommend doing the same to make sure you get the correct size. There's ample storage and I really appreciate the zippered pocket on the front. I've gone up to 30 miles with it, but I think it will be more than adequate for a 50 in the future. On more than one occasion, I've even forgotten I was wearing it. It's that comfortable! My only complaint is that I found the quickLINK to take a bit of getting used to after wearing vest with buckles previously, but I'm a fan of it now.
I have used the pack quite a few times now and it is clear that you can really make this work for short runs in the heat, 12-24mi long runs on the trail, 10-12mi hikes and I have even used this on my cross country bike for 20-30miles. Very stable in all situations. the only qualm is that my phone (admittedly to big, iPhone 16 pro) does not ride very well because it is heavy and large. Also, the pack is can get a little hot while wearing in the heavy humidity and heat here in Alabama, but realistically it is probably the best it can be under the conditions for also wearing something very stable.
Did my half marathon with it recently and the only impact on my running was better hydration! Lots of room I didn’t need to use in the back section, and room for gels, AirPods, etc in the front pockets!
