Comfortable but missing logo
These sandals are extremely comfortable, like all the other chaco's I've owned! I purchased the Argon color, and it looks just like the picture online. My only issue is that the logo is missing on the side of the sandal. In the images, there is a circular Chaco loco on the side of teh sandal. This is missing on both my sandals, and its just an empty hole. Kinda makes them look like knock-offs, but I don't think its very noticeable when wearing them. Not worth returning them for it, but it is a little upsetting. Definitely something to keep an eye out for!
Perfect hike/camp/river shoes
Got these shoes because my last pair of Chacos traumatically were taken away in a river last summer. I like these more than my last pair as they are my favorite color (I got the sea blue) and seem to be a little heavier duty than my last pair. I’ve been wearing a ton and got a little blister while breaking them in, but now they’re nice and comfy and perfect to wear weather I’m going to the store, on a short hike, fishing, or just around camp.
Comfy and great straps
Super comfy - great arch support. The strap hooks have nice resistance so can easily loosen and tighten as needed and straps don't loosen as you walk.
Perfect color & true to size
Cute lavender color was exactly what I wanted, fits true to size & the straps are comfortable once I got them where I wanted them. Haven’t used them extensively in water to see how quickly they dry, but they are very sturdy walking on rocks in the water.
Comfy Support
The shoes themselves are fantastic (I have 3 pairs). They run small so size up, if you’re between sizes. I returned the Sea Pine because although I love that teal, the nylon color and the base/buckles were a totally different shade and looked odd.
Monochrome is where it's at!
I love the new monochrome Chaco's! They are a nice addition to my summer sandals.
Worst Purchase Ever
I wasn't aware that Chacos typically have a long painful break in period. I had horrific blisters on both feet after just 20 minutes of walking. I'm so thankful I bought them at REI and I was able to return them. A pair of sandals that cost over $100 should not give you blisters!
