Previous design great. Updated design worse
I find it monumentally frustrating that engineers cannot leave a good design alone. I purchased one of these bags last fall and loved how it worked. It fit exactly how I wanted it to under my saddle and it holds everything I want to take with me. So, I bought another one this year. I could not get it to fit and, after substantial frustration, I pulled the old one off my other bike and compared the two. The attachment strap on the new design is about one inch shorter than the previous design, which is enough to prevent me from attaching the bag in a manner that suits me. Other than that, it's a great bag. It holds two 32-47 tubes, two CO2 cartridges, tire levers, and a large multitool; everything I want with me on a remote gravel ride. But engineers - please - stop tweaking something that works; or change the name of the product so people don't think they are buying the same thing they bought previously.
Nice bag but NOT waterproof
Nice size bag, but definitely not waterproof. Field tested on two long rides this summer where I hit rain a few times. One day I rode all-day in a light rain. That night I opened the bag to find everything inside wet. Another day I rode through a brief (30 minute) torrential downpour. Again, everything in the bag was wet. If you want a bag this size, it'll work fine. If you want waterproof, don't buy it.
Great pack
I've had this for about 3 months now. Good bag, no complaints. Does well in the rain. I'm usually able to fit a small kit of bandaids/gauze, spare inner tube, wallet, keys, light gloves, facemask, and a small multitool with more room to spare.
great pack!
This is exactly what I was looking for! Great size, well made, and water-resistant! I'm buying one for my wife!!
