Just what I was looking for
These are my favorite of all the bike shorts I've owned. I like the length, the phone pocket, the less-bulky chamois and the elastic-free waist so I'm not always having to un-twist elastic. I wear them for indoor cycling and under baggy shorts for casual rides. They run large. I had to return them and get a size down from my normal Terry size. I will be purchasing another pair so I don't have to wash them every day.

Great fit, no wicking
I love the way these shorts fit - biking shorts are not flattering on ANYONE, but these aren't bad! But they have ZERO wicking properties!! Very bad for biking shorts! I feel like I'm riding on a wet towel once I start sweating and it takes a while for them to dry once I take them off. I'm torn as to whether I return them b/c I do love the fit....

Average shorts, feels thin

I was in the market for some padded shorts, and decided to buy almost all the Terry Women's to try. This is the least expensive of all the Terry shorts that I'd ordered in the one online shopping trip, and you can definitely tell why it's priced the cheapest. The material feels like swimsuit material - the inner tag says the fabric consists of 76% Nylon, 24% Spandex. It doesn't suck or hold in my lumps and bumps as other pants, and the chamois padding was the thinnest. It's grey in the photos, while the other pants had a pink chamois, and it just feels less substantial in the thickness. I guess in some ways maybe the difference would be if you were wearing a thin-pad when menstruating compared with the night-time or heavy-day pads (if this analogy works in explaining it). You really need to buy to try them on and see how you feel when walking with that in between your legs. I was worried the legs will roll up since there's none of that elasticated band to hold it down on my thighs. I am also concerned it won't hold up in the wash so returning this item preemptively without having taken it on a test bike ride. You can also read my other review for the Terry Touring Long Bike Shorts to compare photos and initial reactions/feelings. hope this helps you in choosing a pair of shorts!

comfy bike shorts

wow, i didn't know bike shorts can be this comfy. the chamois is just the right width (narrower than most bike shorts) and thickness (thinner than most). I'm buying a second pair for sure.

Great bike shorts!

They are stretchy and comfy...no tightness at the thigh like my old ones. Nice padding I. The seat, but not noticeable.

Great shirts but not enough padding

Bought these on sale to use during the summer and indoors. I absolutely love the fabric, you don’t feel like you’re suffocating. They stretch nicely and feel great. My only negative is that I don’t feel they have enough padding.

Great quality and fit

Love the longer length of these shorts and the material is lightweight and gives good support. Padding is great and very comfortable while riding. Love the little pocket. Highly recommend these shorts! Would buy again.
