Just the best lightweight draws

I had a set of the old neutrino draws and loved those so I was pretty excited to see these earlier this year. I'm more of a trad climber than a sport climber but honestly these things are so weightless I just keep them on me all the time. Whether I'm on the occasional sport route, hit a bolt in a trad route, or just need to sling out my protection a few extra inches to get my rope out of a crack these things are great to have. They weigh practically nothing, have a great texture to them so they're easy to handle, and they're sturdy without being bulky. Strongly recommend to anyone looking to shed a little weight from their rack.

Litewire

Great Draws for the price. I use them as a light draw for onsighting. The dogbone is small but I think thats a good sacrifice for the weight. I always love a wire gate for clipping but, as always, cleaning will be a bit more of a hassle which is why I use a mix of these draws and the hotforge hybrid for any sort of projecting. Litewire for easy sections and hotforge for cruxy areas where the dogbone is more comfortable to hold.

Great but inexpensive quick draws

I purchased this pack of quick draws at the beginning of my foray into sport rock climbing. The black diamond quick draws are very high quality even though the pack is one of the cheaper sets of 6. The carabiners can be swapped out for locking carabiners to create sport climbing anchors or the carabiner can be removed for applications elsewhere. For anyone getting into outdoor climbing, whether its sport, trad or top rope, I would recommend getting this or a different set of quick draws as they always come in handy and can make an unsafe situation much safer quickly.

Just what I expected

As with every bd product, there is a level of durability and quality you expect when you purchase. This draw is perfect for trad and feel comfortable taking a whipper on them. The light wire beaners are perfect side for me, I don’t have extra large hands but not small either. Makes clipping natural and perfect. I also have order of mini wires on the way. I have not yet held them or tried so will review comparison soon which I had a hard time finding for my own decision making. Hope it helps.

Super solid

I’m fairly new into the lead/sport climbing game. I grew up bouldering and just started getting my gear up to be able to do sport stuff now. Been using these for a few months now, haven’t been super gentle with them and I don’t see any wear and tear aside from the dogbone has some dirt stains in it now and minor scratches on the biners. I would say these are good entry level quickdraws for anybody looking to get some more affordable, yet practical gear.

A decent lightweight quickdraw option, they have held up well over time. Not a lot of “wow” factor, but they get the job done. Not good draws for dogging on your project, but fine for a 40m pitch where you need 20+ quickdraws. I prefer to supplement with something like the Petzl Spirit which are heavier, but confidence inspiring and you can pull on them if need be.

Great QuickDraw

Of all of the quickdraws I've used, the black diamond brand never disappoints. The litewires have been especially wonderful; I've taken massive whippers and hung for what seems like hours and they have withstood the test of time. And at their price I've yet to find anything that can compare to build quality and weight.

Just what you need

If you’re into lightweight and bombproof, these are the ticket. It was time to retire a slew of my old draws and, with these, I immediately noticed the smoothness when clipping and cleaning. Can’t forget to mention how light these bad boys feel clipped on my harness. Go for it!

Light draws

Lightweight draws. Dog bone is pretty skinny, so they tend to twist around a little more than the fatter ones. Not a fan of the carabiners. The nose catches on everything making it tricky to unclip in tenuous situations.
