Love being misled by online colors

REI fail on the online color game; if you go to Fjallraven's site, it's more accurate. It's a dulled green and quite a bit more blue tone (think closer to teal) to it than this bright, green that you see on REI's site. Still a 5-star item. Being a blend of merino wool and polyester, it is quite thin but interested to see how it holds up to the "keeps you warm and keeps you cool when needed" trait like other merino wool clothing. Fits well; looser than a base layer but "like a glove" kind of fit. Would purchase another in a different color.

Great.. but I wish it lasted longer.

I bought this sweater in the beginning of April. The fit and quality are amazing, it has very smooth feel and feels luxurious on the skin. However, after a few wears I have noticed that is is peeling noticeably. I put it on for the first time on my holiday trip and noticed first signs while I was still on holiday, so it took less than 2 weeks, or about 5 wears. I know that all wool eventually peels but I didn't expect it to happen THAT quickly. I'm very upset about it. Also, I didn't wear a purse or a backpack with it.

Excellent base layer

Extremely comfortable, surprisingly NOT itchy, warmer than I expected (given how thin it is) and under a fleece or other light jacket it is a powerful layer combination. I am hoping it lasts and that I do not get holes like others reported! I got a dark blue last week and I am going back for another color this weekend. I wish they had more colors.

Great Shirt

This is one of my favourite shirts in my closet. It is very light but not see-through, the colour is nicer than I expected. It is very smooth against my skin considering that it is a wool shirt. The logo is in a similar colour so it is very subtle. I will be buying in other colours.

Hands down!

This is the best shirt ever: lightweight, durable, smooth, comfortable, and it keeps odors away. It works perfectly in warm weather and as a layer when it's cold. I used it on my safari trip and couldn't have been happier with it!

Love it

My husband brought me one for this past fall. Love it so much that I brought 4 more today. Only down side is that i have a wear and tear hole under my arm already. I hope they can last longer.

Almost Perfect

Very soft, smooth fabric with nice stretch thanks to the jersey knit construction. Slim fit through the arms and shoulder (I tend to be larger than the average woman in those areas) with a more forgiving fit through the torso. Length is great for me as I'm short waisted and hate when shirts end up looking like tunics. I bought this to run in, though, and the only seams in the entire garment that are flatlocked are the shoulder seams: the side, arm, and neck seams are not, though I do appreciate the fabric cover trim on the back of the neck. I hoped to wear this for an upcoming 24hr ultra but I am concerned about chafing due to the seams; will have to do some shorter test runs in advance, and hope that the stitching may soften some in the wash. I also feel that an armpit gusset would provide more freedom of movement - the armholes are not particularly big (though thankfully not snug or uncomfortable), and the shirt lifts quite a bit when you raise your arms as I will be doing while using trekking poles to climb steep hills...just as one would do while hiking or backpacking, for which the shirt is apparently designed.

Go to shirt

Love these shirts. They wear well, wash well, and hold up great. I wear mine constantly year round as part of my capsule wardrobe. Will definitely buy again.

Fantastic fit… very warm but … oh sooo thin and soft I live at the beach and this top keeps the damp cold out with so little bulk

Must have!

I now own 3 of these shirts. They hold up great, look good, feel good, and are perfect for every season and every occasion.
