Soft, quick drying - don't use in tall grass

No complaints about the towel. I'd even started using them as my main towel at home. I love the colors, the softness (even after a machine wash) and how quick it dries. I hate the smell of musty towels, and this one never smells off. But the reason I'm writing this review is- Don't use it in tall, dry grass! I sat on my towels for about 15 minutes on a hike, and they are struck through with foxgloves. Taking out the fox gloves without snagging the blanket is taking hours, and equivalent to a crochet project. So unless you want something to do with your hands while you're watching TV in the evening, I would be cautious about the manufacturer's claims that you can use this as an outdoor blanket.

Worst towel on the trail

So dissatisfied and disappointed in this towel, it’s cute, took it on a 3 3 backpacking trip and was not usable after the time I put it on the ground! Full off grass and stickers and was useless and it wasn’t cheap, the video shows it easy to shake off and clean however it’s like Velcro! Don’t waste your. Iney!

Cutest pattern!

The pattern of this towel is so cute! Online the color looks more muted but in person the bright orange and teal pops which means it works with a neutral look or bright colors. I love this towel for hiking to a swimming hole or keeping in the car for when my kids get wet at the park. It rolls up to be about the third the size of a regular towel of this size, which makes it great to pack. This is honestly the best hiking or travel towel I have used- it has a fluffy feel to it and actually absorbs but doesn’t feel creepy like microfiber. Size wise it is about the size of a beach towel so it works for ground cover too.

Perfect towel

There are smaller and lighter towels but this one has a nice heft to it while still packing up efficiently. Dries fast and I like that the back is black so it doesn't show the dirt if you use it to sit on the ground. Also versatile: good on the beach or in the shower.

Sturdy, stylish travel towel

I received these products for free from the REI Trailblazers sampling program in exchange for my honest review. The Nomadix towel is surprisingly lush and stylish. The gorgeous teal blue color is accompanied by a graphic grid of white lines printed on one side. The reverse is a dark charcoal gray. It feels substantial and weighty, even though it weighs slightly less than a pound. While it’s probably too large and hefty to serve as a choice for backpacking, it’s a great travel towel for camping via RV where bulk or size is not an issue. I used it on a weekend trip in our camp trailer and use it at the pool. It’s plenty long enough to lay on at the beach. The edges don’t curl or stretch like some of my other lightweight travel towels. It dries super fast (less than an hour after washing), doesn’t stretch or wrinkle out of shape. I love the sturdily attached loop for hanging. Washing instruction are included on the sewn in tag. This towel should last for years!

Worst trail towel and waste of money!

Worst towel for the trail! This was such a cute towel however was so full of grass stickers and anything else that was on the ground! The fabric used is like Velcro and very difficult to remove debris, so bummed because this was the only towel for my 4 day trip and was unusable by day one, forget drying yourself off!! It’s probably fine for the beach or pool side but that’s it! One star because I had to. The video shows shaking off towel as a breeze, it’s simply not true!

Multi-functional and high quality cooling towel

I enjoyed a peaceful and quiet interlude under the glorious trees of central Georgia with this towel. It is lightweight to carry but thick enough to prevent the dew on the grass from penetrating its surface. I was pleasantly surprised that it is cool to the touch, especially as I was in 88 degree sunny weather. I highly recommend this product as a lightweight, outdoor towel that is multipurpose and can serve as a blanket.

Great Towel for a Mountain Lake

This is a great towel. My kids asked me to give it 10 stars after using it at the lake for a couple of weeks. Pros: It's super absorbent--kids dried off fast without leaving a soaked towel. We also loved its slim, light-weight profile. And the retro stripes "weren't embarrassing"--high praise from our pre-teens. Cons: The only con was that the material attracts grass, pollen, and other light-weight plant material. This may resolve with washing / use, but it wasn't a huge deterrent. Takeaway: We'd buy this again, in various sizes and patterns. It puts our other beach towels to shame.

Only towel you’ll need

This is a great light weight packable towel that is incredibly absorbent for its size. Getting out of the water after surfing it’s nice to have a towel that you can try off with and not worry about having excess water soak into the seats. This towel is also very light weight so for short hikes to swimming holes or town to the beach it is an effortless carry. The only reason I give it a 4/5 stars is because sand will cling to the material more than a regular towel. Other than that, this is a great product! Excited to try it out for my next yoga session

Lightweight packable beach towel for travel

These towels are great for outdoor adventures where weight and bulk might be an important consideration. I bought these for a trip to Costa Rica where it might be nice to have our own beach towels so they needed to pack small and weigh nothing while still being large enough to function as a beach towel. These things are great, they fit all those constraints and still work to absorb water and dry you off after a day in the water. When packed they take up about the same size as a folded tee shirt and feel good against the skin. I bring them when I'm paddleboarding or camping as well. Overall these are so nice, we have bought a few extras to keep around during the summer.

Magic towel

Wow this towel, amazing. I call it the magic towel because of how magically absorbent it is. I used it as a shower towel the first day I got it because I wanted to test it out being fully soaked before I took it on an adventure and this towel is better than my regular towel! It is absorbent, drys really fast and it’s huge. A bonus feature on the towel that I really appreciate was the little loop on the middle that is used to hang. I also use that hoop to remind me which way is the top and bottom. The pattern is great and the material is soft. It was fantastic to take camping and use as a beach towel, doesn’t take up as much room as a normal towel. I don’t have any complaints and I highly recommend this towel.
