Form ≥ Function
As you'd expect from a Silca product, there isn't a single part on this pump that feels flimsy. The Presta valve fitting is VERY solid and attaches/detaches with ease without fussing about with a locking chuck. If you want a pump that'll last a lifetime and look good doing it, this is the pump for you!
Pretty but schrader chuck is screw on
A beautiful piece of equipment. The press on Presta chuck is awesome. The Schrader chuck is screw on, which seals great, but is a little fussy to sit right. I was looking for a classic floor pump for all my bikes, and I decided to return as it was difficult to use on my Brompton (schrader, 100 psi)
A beauty to display and use, with a few issues
Let’s be honest here, this pump is 50% form, 50% function. It’s a sexy pump. But there are a few shortcomings. The small base makes this pump rocky and unstable and the presta head requires quite a lot of force to remove after pumping up a tire. Regardless a love it. The beautiful of design and solid feel makes the pump a joy to use.
Overpriced pump
This pump is very overpriced and unstable to use. It only has one place to put your foot instead of the usual two, so it's wobbly if you use it on any surface that is not hard and flat (eg, carpet). The guage is small, hard to read, and quit working after only 2 years.
Floor pump
Pump works great. It’s hard to find a pump that actually works. Having said that the gauge is not accurate. You will need to have a low pressure gauge to set your pressure accurately.
Sturdy and pretty
Very stylish classic bike pump that is easy to use and well built. Had it for over 5 years now and no problems.
Looks cool and that's about it.
Baught it - Gauge was broken day 1. The quality control 2 Silca seems to be majorly lacking.
