Jacket fell apart after one wash

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this jacket one year ago. After first wash the jacket fell apart at the bottom across entire length of the jacket. I returned that jacket and received a new one. I started it using this spring again since it is not insulated jacket. This time fell apart after 2 washing cycles....it is progress.. It fell apart in the same spot - bottom of the jacket and across entire length. It looks like this jacket is glued at that spot instead sewn and this is a problem. right now I'm contacting North Face to fix that jacket since clearly it is bad design. I would not recommend this product to anybody!!

i like the fit and nice material, but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the color and fit. But the picture on the website is different from the one I got. The center zipper color is light sky blue and actually it looks better than the pic on the site. I haven't worn a lot, but the material feels kind of delicate meaning it can be damaged easily...

Inaccurate website description: jacket and zipper color

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket has a serious color issue which makes me so disappointed. The website description is not accurate in terms of color. I've recently purchased an 'aviator navy heather' color, but the actual color looks more like marine blue. The picture on the website is a lot darker than the actual color. Also, the zipper color is different than the website picture; it is not black. The actual zipper color is 'sky blue,' which doesn't seem to match the jacket color. So, I decided to return it.

Lightweight and warm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket is completely waterproof and wind proof. Its the perfect jacket for me due to my cycling in ALL weather conditions. The jacket is light weight and flexable and one of the few jackets from northface that has a darkened logo which i prefer over the white. I highly recommend this jacket to active people who dont like heavy bulky winter jackets. Just layer up and you will be warm and toasty all winter long with out the bulk.

Amazing jacket ruined by tight fit in the shoulders

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, this is a great jacket. I'm quite impressed by the craftsmanship, the material, and the design. I just wish it fit me properly. Admittedlly, I am a bigger guy: I'm 6', 240 lbs with a broad chest and broad shoulders, and that's where the problem lies with this jacket. It's just strangely tight across the chest, and I can feel the material tightly pinching my back and biceps. Yet the length is fine and there's plenty of space in the abdomen area. If you don't have broad shoulders like I do and are more straight from top to bottom, then this jacket might fit you perfectly, in which case I would suggest you buy it. The Futurelight material is really amazing: it's stretchy, breathable, and repels water as expected. It's also super lightweight, making this perfect for hiking or just moving around town. I wish the North Face had a size for guys with big, athletic builds. If it was sized right, I absolutely would have kept this jacket.

I would buy this product again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got Apex Flex gtx before, it was nice jacket. I purchased Apex Flex futurelight TFN black , great jacket, lighter than previous version. points of disappointment; inner lining should have been black or dark grey but it's like ice blue or something like that. It comes not slim fit it's std fit. But anyway I would buy this product again.

Awesome jacket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Haven't used this jacket in significant rain or running yet, however the fabric is very soft and comfortable, great waterproofing in light rain. Doesn't wet out. The fit is slimmer than most, but not too tight. Perfect fit in my opinion and still room to layer if necessary.

Very good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We went to Glacier National park with this suit. And it is definitely by far the best one ever had. It definitely block sunlight, heavy wind or even sands for you. Meanwhile, you can also feel it is breathing and cool your body. Highly recommended.

Amazing jacket!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this jacket! I wore it on top of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park. It was FREEZING outside. But I was nice and toasty in this jacket. It's lightweight, waterproof, and warm but breathable. I'm a believer in FUTURELIGHT now.
