The Swiss Army Knife of Bike Duffles

So you are like me and you have 2 sets of shoes and 2 helmets and various gloves laying in the footwells of the rear seat of your vehicle. not only that you have a couple backpacks full of jackets, winter wear sunglasses, a spare tube or tube and maybe a multi-wrench and patch kit hanging from a bungee wrapped around the headrest supports. Every time you need something from ether bag, the contents of that bag end up all over the backseat, and stays that way for a couple days after your ride. So you have rendered the back of your car unusable and it looks like you live there. tThe answer to this problem is the Thule Bike gear Duffel. Put your Jackets on either side of the inside of the bag along with gloves, glasses arm and leg warmers, hats, buffs, shoe covers - there are plenty of cubbyholes for these and more. Either end of the duffel will hold your helmet and shoes and there is a zipper compartment under the top flap to hold wet post-ride clothing. It has a carry strap for portability and it's made of heavy-duty fabric. It will fit anywhere, medium size, and you can get your rear seat back

The adventure go bag.

The perfect go bag that stays in your car with all the clothes you would ever need for impromptu hike, run, or overnight. The dividers not only help you stay organized but they also prevent you from forgetting something when your repacking from your previous adventures. The tarp lined shoe pocket is prefect for your shoes pre run and then your wet clothes after. Thank you Thule for the perfect go back for my adventures now just make me a carry on size for work trips

Fantastic bag, one small flaw

I gave this bag 5 stars because it really is the best cycling gear bag that I have ever had. The build and materials are high quality and it is thoughtfully designed with gear specific pockets. Here is my one complaint - The honeycomb gear divider should have a bottom. The honeycomb is a great idea and works perfectly for glasses, arm warmers, gloves, etc. The problem is that if you put small items (energy gels, ear buds, etc) into one of the cells they inevitably end up going out the bottom of the honeycomb and float around free on the bottom of the bag. If there was a thin cloth bottom to the honeycomb to prevent this from happening this truly would be the perfect bike gear bag. As it is it is still a very good bag and I'm happy with it. I would buy it again.

Great bike bag for helmet and shoes

I’d been wanting a bag that did not have the separated shoe/wet clothing compartment UNDER the bag. For me, shoes get put on first, and loaded back into bag last. If the main part of the bag is full, it’s is a struggle to get the shoes back in. Also a designated helmet compartment is useful. I do have two complaints, however. The compartments in the main bag are not needed, or should be stretchy mesh or removable. Also, I would prefer a smaller bag. I still rate this as five stars because of shoe compartment on the side of the bag.

Versatile meets quality

I have been searching for this type of bag for a while. Out of the box it was well constructed and thoughtfully designed. All gear has a safe spot including the difficult to store night riding light system. Within days of getting it, we used it to support a 15 hour flight with a 1.5 year old toddler. The compartments held toys, snacks, diapers (new and gently used), and clothes for the entire trip and fit easily in the overhead storage. It immediately switched back to a bike bag post trip and has been a great tool for its originally intended purpose.

Even better than advertised

I'm surprised by how much I'm enjoying my Thule Bike Gear Locker Duffel, which I've been using for the past couple of months. I really like the ability to get all of your gear organized. Beforehand, I thought the myriad small compartments was a bit fussy, but now I realize how everything is visible at all times. In a deeper bag, you often need to dive deep to locate hidden items. The shoulder strap and relatively thin profile makes walking with the bag less of a public hazard than other bags I've used previously. I honestly can't think of one feature of this bag that I would change.

LOVE IT

Been using this bag for the last month. It's perfect. I ride a road bike, gravel bike and mountain bike, so I have a lot of different riding gear (2 pairs of shoes, 2 pairs of gloves, 2 sizes of spare tubes) and even with all that all my apparel, snacks, and sunglasses are organized to perfection. I keep my shock pump, mid-sized hand pump, a multi-tool, levers, and a bottle of chain lube in the front pocket. I can fit 2 pairs of shoes too (1 in the shoe compartment, 1 under my helmet on the side of the main compartment). Dirty clothes stay separate from my clean gear and I take them out right when I get home. I've been the only one of my friends to not forget a key item before a ride over the last month (sock, extra tube, gloves, shoes!). Worth owning this bag for avoiding just a single epic ride because you forgot your shoes! Pro Tip: I never zip the shoe compartment after a ride to allow some air flow to dry out my sweaty shoes.

no more digging through the bin

Not only can I keep my kit ready to be out the door with my bike in the time it takes to fill a water bottle, but it keeps my stuff organized in the garage too. No more digging for the other gloves, sleeve, sock, etc! Now, about the bag • yes, it’s larger than you might think. But it fits a full face helmet (or 3/4 and my 6L hip pack), 5.10 trail cross LR (mid height) shoes, multiple pairs of shorts, pants, bibs, jerseys, socks, glasses, gloves, etc. • it’s too big to put next to your transition station at a tri without being a jerk. • no, nothing falls out of the bottom of the sleeves like one review critiqued. I find objects to be large enough and pockets to be small enough that this is a non issue. AirPods and the such go in one of the two zippered front pouches. • my one suggested improvement would be to make the bottom of the bag more rugged. I’d like it to have a hardened and/or more easily cleaned surface so I can drop it in the dirt next to my car indiscriminately.
