Thought that was it, but wasn't.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually wear flip flops. Was looking for a simple walking sandal for short walks or water sports. I wore them inside the house 5 or 6 times before heading outside for a 3-mile walk. They didn't feel very comfortable at first but I thought I had to break them in a little. My conclusion after that walk is it's not a matter of breaking them in. There are part of the sandals that are literally too sharp and hurt. The top Velcro section has some pointy or sharp edges that no matter how tight or somewhat loose or very loose I fitted them on my feet, they rubbed my skin bad. If someone has found a truck to soften this please share! Otherwise as is, this sandal is not wearable.

I would by this product all over again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the sandal specifically for a trip in wilderness of Alaska. I have a problem with my foot which is it cannot bare stepping on hard soles especially for long walks. And this sandals really did not disappointed me! Comfy, lightweight, very durable, and simpl everything that I am looking for in sandals. I plan to get all the colors availble.

No, I would not buy this again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love them when I first saw them. Wore them a couple of times and the sandal is already coming apart. Really bummed out! Not sure if it was just made bad or what.

Cute but....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been eyeing these sandals for about a year. And I finally pulled the trigger on purchasing them. They are really comfortable but I find my feet tired after wearing them all day. I'm not sure why but by the end of the day I'm ready to get out of them. I feel like that the material the footbed is made out of is not breathable material. Just because I find my feet kind of sweaty and sticky half way through the day. Which shouldn't be an issue if you are wearing sandals...I think. My sole one shoe has started to come apart within a month or two of purchase. I have to now file a warranty claim and mail them off. So now I won't get to wear them. Of all the minor flaws, I still love the look of these. And I will buy again. Just in another color.

Comfortable but not made for water

These sandals were extremely comfortable right out of the box. The foam base and straps we comfortable and there was no rubbing or sore spots. I'm an 8 - 8.5 in street shoes and the 8's had room to spare. However, I bought these for lake shoes to get over the rocks on shore. As soon as they got wet in the water the webbing stretched out so bad my feet were sloshing about. I was constantly adjusting them. When dry the webbing returns to the normal shape but unfortunately the stretching made these shoes not usable for me so I returned them. I would highly recommend if you do not intend to wear them in water.

Faulty Shoes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this design so much but after only two months of normal wear my shoes, and my daughters both came apart at the side. Not the North Face quality I would expect. They also cut the toes because of the front band. Really too bad because I love the look.

Do Not Buy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The strap came out of the footbed the second time I wore these. The company makes returns really difficult... probably impossible to get a replacement or refund. I regret I bought these.

Cute and functional, could have a slightly thicker platform

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that the sandal is functional. I plan to wear them on vacation. They are easy to put on and take off.
