Great fit
Generally, no brand is accommodating of my curves, and Patagonia is no exception. However, this pair has a built-in belt-like system that I can adjust to be tight around my waist. It’s a light fabric, right length (it sits right on my knees) and it has a convenient pocket.

Meh. Baggy unattractive fit, chamois uncomfortable
So disappointed. I had an older version of these and the chamois is great. This one rode up, itchy in the mesh area, and had a super unflattering waistband. Over shorts are a bit too baggy and caught on my seat. Could have been I had to size up to fit these over my hips. Returned.

a little too constricting

I’m a curvy girl and these fit nicely but are a little tighter and stiffer than I’d like. I like the belt system mostly, but because the zipper is fairly short I have to undo the clips to get the shorts over my hips — not great for a quick trail side wee. I like the color and the chamois is as comfy as expected.

Bring in the mud, rocks and all the trail fun!

I've used it a couple of times by now, with and without the chamois it includes, and they are super comfortable either way. I prefer to not use the chamois in shorter MTB tracks, specially in warmer weather, but that's just my preference, since the chamois works well. What I love: 1) I have fallen with them and they have not ripped yet, so the fabric is doing it's job. 2) They have a waist adjustment feature which is why I initially bought them, since it's nearly impossible for me to find a short that fits my hips without having a huge gap in the waist. 3) Quick dry and easy cleaning: I can pedal today, get mud all over them, wash them and they will be dry tomorrow AM to hit the trails again. I tested this even in a humid and hot environment, where the jersey didn't manage to dry completely.

Arrived damaged

Missing CF button. Weird fit. If I were able to send a photo to customer service I wouldn’t be adding it here. REI’s game has been way off my past few orders

liners ride up :(

I love the outer shorts! Clever way of keeping them up. The liners are another story. They were perfect the first ride but now they ride up and I can't keep them down. It makes me sad.

outer shorts nice, problematic liner

The outer shorts are a cute cut if you like long shorts. The liner slides up almost immediately into the ride, which is very uncomfortable. I was expecting more from Patagonia. I just wear the outer shorts for non-biking activities, and don’t use the inner ones at all.
