awesome quality wheelset and super affordable

These wheels came true, spin freely and are a great value. They are rim brake compatible and come with a Shimano HG hub installed. They came with QR levers and a spacer. They look just awesome. They are also tubeless compatible so you can use tubeless tires or clinchers. They come pre taped for tubeless also which is really nice. I got two wheels for 130 bucks but even at the MSRP I would buy these again for many bike builds, projects and restorations. The rim width is rated to handle up to 32 mm tires but the internal width seems to be 17 mm which is known to handle up to 35 mm even so these are perfect for my needs. WILL BUY AGAIN for sure.

Best Wheelset on a Budget!

I recently purchased this wheelset for a rebuild on my vintage 1990 Bianchi Brava. These wheels are great! It’s a Shimano so it’s high quality! Very comfortable, fast, and light weight! I love these wheels! Best wheels to purchase if you are on a budget, I can tell these will last me years of riding.

Great wheels! But why no packaging?

These wheels are great for a commuter setup. Not too wide but you can still use a fairly large tire, and almost bulletproof on city streets. I am only replacing my set because of a love tap from a car. Even after they tacoed the front, I was still was able to ride home (with the front brakes undone). That said, I ordered this set online and picked them up at my local REI. The wheels where handed to me loose and tied together with twine. The edges were they were tied together were slightly scuffed but I need them to commute and otherwise they were good condition. My first WH-RS100 set came in a box from Shimano with blue text. Just thought it was strange they were unpackaged and makes me not want to buy bike parts from the co-op.

Well made wheelset

I picked up these wheels to pair with my new 105 11sp groupset which I plan to install on my bike soon. The wheels are well made as you can expect from Shimano. these didn't come in a retail box, but zip tied together. However, I could find no flaw or scratches. Both wheels are true and I installed my 105 11sp casset with ease. I am waiting on Vittoria tubes and Zaffiro Pro III 23c tires to ship. Comes with pre-built wheels, black skewers, blue rim tape designed for both traditional clincher tubes and new tubeless tires.

Super value. Quite true.

Basic wheelset, as good as any. Pretty tough. Wish they came in silver, without logos. At least it says 'RS'. You can pretend it stands for Richard Sachs.

Great mid-range wheel set

Purchased to replace worn-out Shimano wheels on my older 9-speed bike. Worked great with the included spacer. I bit heaver than my previous wheels, but they work fine and roll well. No real issues and the price was good for their intended use. Very happy.

Shimano Tiagra WH-RS100 Wheelset

I bought these for a bike build on a budget. I have put about 1000 miles in and they remained tru as they came out the box. I’ll be servicing them just for maintenance. These are truly a great set of Shimano wheels. Will recommend to anyone who is on a budget and looking for a reliable set of wheels.
