This is the best structured raincoat I've shopped. It's actually built for my body, AND it is covers my bum. The attention to detail is notable--when zipped to the top the hood actually fits on my head and stays in place. The jury is still out on hiking in the Pacific NW rain--but I'm hopeful this is my new favorite coat. I sized up from S to M so I can wear a jacket underneath.

Great Jacket
I was looking for a little longer rain jacket. This jacket is a nice mid-thigh length. Soft, stretchy fabric. It is figure flattering. Zip from bottom up is a real plus when sitting or wanting a little more ease of movement. Repels rain well and is windproof. I've become a big fan of Kuhl products - quality!

Bad zipper
No, I do not recommend this product
I really wanted to love this jacket...and in fact, I love the fit and how waterproof it is. However, the zipper is so difficult to operate! Most times it takes me multiple times to get it to zip. I returned the jacket to REI hoping that the new coat's zipper would work better, but it didn't. So sorry to have to return the jacket.

My go to jacket here in the PNW. Beautiful flattering shape and construction. I’m a fan of this brand too but since I’m older and on the cusp of the weight chart, I wish I’d ordered a M. for a fleece under. So nice for travel. I really like the blue. No more M available I guess.

Great jacket
Yes , I recommend this product
I got this jacket to walk my dog in the rain and it is very flexible and does a great job at repelling water. Only complaint is the hood doesn't have strings to tie and sometimes it would fall down because of the wind.
