prAna  Amata Top - Women's

I love this top, I'm large chested but small wast so this allows me to adjust the bottom of the top to fit my waist without the top compressing my boobs. I love wearing this top to run in because of how lightweight and breathable it is. As pictures show on model it is sheer, so you can see your bra underneath. Also- I bought the white and black. DO NOT wear the white while climbing- the dirt will stain the white shirt and ruin it. Black would be totally fine to wear climbing. I hope they start to make this in darker colors, so that I can buy more- the light colors would only be safe to wear for yoga practice.

I purchased the stargazer color in medium, LOVE the high neckline but NOT the big arm hole that gaps. The fabric is sheer but this dark color is not as see-through as the other colors. However a sports bra is exposed at the arm holes as shown in the photos. Initially I thought that was part of the top. I took in the arm holes on my own rather than return or exchange for small and it works, keeping the neckline from gaping when doing "down dog" Drape and length is lovely, the scrunch side option is stylish and very flattering. I vote for more high-cut necklines!

I have always liked the high neck tops at Prana. This one is different from the others I have purchased because the fabric is light and sheer. A cute bra underneath is nice. I first ordered the L, which is what I have worn in the other high neck tops, but i preferred the Medium in this one. It was low cut in the arm holes and at 48 I just think it looks tacky to have that area overexposed. The Medium isn't as loose in the hips as I would like so it is a bit of a compromise.

This is my all time favorite workout top. I’m 5’7” and 120 pounds, 34A with a long torso. The small fits great, although I could probably wear an XS bc it’s a loose fit. It’s very flattering on my body type and has a longer length (hits mid-butt on me) which I appreciate since shirts tend to be too short on me. It is very sheer, so my sports bra is visible through the fabric and in bright sunlight you can just about see right through it. The arm holes are also pretty big. But it’s lightweight and flowy and it dries almost immediately so it’s great for working out or running in. I have two of these in black and azurite. The azurite shows sweat but the black does not. The fabric feels a little rough at first but softens up with wear. I also like the higher neckline for a little extra coverage when doing yoga

This top received a 5 stars for great fit for its smart design where I can adjust the length adjusting the strings along the sides of the top. I am 4' 11" tall, 110-112 lbs. It is easy for me to look wide on the hips because of my height but this top helps enhance my shape. The Soft White Tile color is very pretty but I am not certain how the other colors. I also find PrAna customer service to be very professional. This is why I am a PrAna loyal fan.

I found this product to be too big in the arm pits and somewhat snug or odd fitting in other areas. I'm 5'1", 130 lbs., and being larger in the chest area, I purchased a medium. For my petite body, this didn't quite fit correctly in certain places. I could have possibly gone small, but then it would have been too tight in the chest. With the medium, it was loose in the underarm, a little to lengthy for my small torso, and hugged in the wrong areas.

Love this top! The length is perfect and I love the neckline. It makes my shoulders look great, too. The fabric is pretty sheer (which I could tell from photos) and breathable. I took off one star because it did ride up during my practice. I’m usually a L in Prana tops and this seems true to size, even with a more relaxed fit. Purchasing a second color!

I purchased specifically for yoga. It is very light and airy which is great! Except, at the armpits the material sticks out. This annoys me greatly! I had to configure something to attach in the back to make it tighter so the arm pits are not sticking out forward and sideways. I am a 32DDD and the small fits well. Again, except the arm pit area.

I thought this would be more flattering, with the ties that you can tighten on the sides, but they loosen up too easily and they also create a sort of flap around the tummy, so it just made my short torso look boxy. It's comfortable, but I've decided to return it. I can find a better, more flattering black tank elsewhere.

I feel in love with the pattern and bought it. I already have the yellow so I knew I’d love it. The fabric is my favorite to workout in. It is lightweight and lays nicely on the body. I use it for workouts and also with jeans or shorts. The side straps are a big plus if you want to adjust the fit. Great performance.
