Black Diamond  Momentum Harness Package - Women's

So far, I love the quality of everything! I received a charcoal chalk bag, which I love better than the aqua/teal color in the photo. I'll be trying out my new gear tonight, and I am stoked! It's a great deal, although including an auto-locking carabiner and the twist-locking would be cool. I ended up buying a separate auto-locking carabiner, which is fine! This is a great deal for beginners or anyone who wants a matching set and is "for everyone." I almost wish there were more orange accessories since the screw on the carabiner is orange. Anyway, good quality, and I am thrilled with my purchase! I ordered the XL just to be safe, and I usually wear L-XL in clothing, and it's perfect!

Exactly what I was looking for and came just as described in the picture. I'm a beginner rock climber and Its everything i needed at a good affordable price. I would recommend this to any beginner not looking to spend a fortune but looking for good equipment that looks good, fits good, and does its job.

If you're just getting into climbing and looking for your first set of gear, I highly recommend this set! The harness is incredibly comfortable and holds up great. I've been using mine for over two years of climbing 4ish times a week, have taken lots of lead falls in it, and spent who knows how many hours hanging in it. And it's still in great condition! My only advice is to size up if you have a bigger butt! My small fits my waist well but I have to extend the harness all the way to get it over my butt, and it's challenging to get it on over baggier pants. The ATC, chalk bag, and chalk are a great added bonus - you can't go wrong with any Black Diamond gear.

An excellent starter kit, providing value for any level of climber.

I started climbing about 3-4 months ago on a bulky but functional and comfortable harness loaned from the climbing gym. With the REI sale, it was time to invest. It took me two tries via mail order to get the right fit in this one. I’m 5’3” 130lbs. Going by the waist size, I ordered the small first. If fit in the waist but only fit my thighs on the loosest setting. The rise was too short which was the deal breaker. I returned it for the medium. Great fit and just have to overlap the padded part to get the harness tight enough around the waste. Test run yesterday climbing outdoors and was comfortable for a near 3 hour session of learning lead and multiple repels.

I purchased the Womens Momentum Harness package and LOVE everything it came with. I started climbing indoor (top rope and bouldering) at a gym in January and have gotten hooked. I wanted to wait about 6 months before buying gear, and now that I'm traveling for work visiting gyms that charge for rentals, it made sense to buy what I need to climb. The harness is really comfortable, the padding is firm enough to feel secure but soft enough to not be in pain hanging. it's easy to secure with the one loop. Overall, great purchase for women just starting out climbing. It was a great financial investment. I am 5'6 about 150 pounds and ordered a large.

I was intending to get an entrance level kit so I can begin climbing both indoor and out. The ATC, bag and harness are perfect for getting into climbing without breaking the bank. The waist and legs are padded in the perfect spots to allow comfort while belaying and climbing. Overall it was a good purchase.

This set is a great deal to get started in climbing, the harness is very comfortable and it's nice to everything you need (other than shoes) to start gym climbing. I like that it comes with a strap to wear the chalk bag while bouldering and the mesh bag it comes in is good for storage/carring it. The chalk bag color and the belay device carabiner will be different colors just depending on what bag you get though.

This was Christmas gift for my 11 yr old granddaughter and she is thrilled! Harness is very comfortable… much more than the one she had to rent at the climbing gym! She is new to this sport and your products are encouraging her to get up that wall. Btw… she competed against adults and did very well, no fear and with Black Diamond she is loving it! Thanks!

As a woman with large hips, I found it difficult to find a quality climbing harness at REI that would fit me. This one does, but only just barely (it often tries to take my pants with it when I take it off). For reference, I wear a size 14 in women's and 34 in men's pants.
