Been using then for five + years now
Lightweight, durable and easy to use. I’ve been using these quickdraws to sport climb and set up top ropes (always opposing and opposed) for over five year. They still look great, no burrs, fraying or any issues with the gates. I went with the wire gates because it reduces the chance of gate flutter when they get jostled around. Overall a great choice in sport climbing protection.

Affordable and strong
All around great QuickDraws. A bit cheaper than the other options and lighter because of the wire gate. I’ve taken them outdoors for a few months and nothing but basic wear and tear, I except to continue using them for a long long time. Make sure you tape them or mark them in someway! Very popular draws, several of my climbing buddies have the exact same set haha!

Well, I’ve used these on quite a few sport climbs now and I’m loving them. The gates are at the perfect tension to easily snap the rope through and I like how they are a little longer, it has caused a little less rope drag. Thanks BD!

Not good
They’re light which is nice. However, compared to other wire gates I’ve owned, these seem to have more of a problem getting stuck on my harness. Also, the bolt end of these is way too loose and I have even dropped the dogbone and rope side carabiner, leaving only one carabiner in the bolt. As for price I purchased CAMP hybrids for the same price and have had a much better experience with those (and I’m not 100% sure but I think they weigh even less than these)
Sweet draws
Overall super good draw. It’s light enough that you could use it for Chad but I mostly used it for sport climbing. I bought these to add onto my rack and have some longer drawers and have loved them so far. I really like the size and they work super well. This is definitely geared for more of a intermediate climber. I would definitely buy these draws again. I think you should buy these too.

My favorite quickdraw for sport climbing
I use these as my main draws for sport climbing. I prefer wiregates, as I mainly climb slab or vertical. The Hotwires are light, durable, and have a confident clipping feel. The keeper has just the right amount of stiffness (if you know, you know). Gate action is still smooth and snappy, even after a season of use. As a matter of personal preference, I like the Hotwire's in-hand "grip" feel better than almost any other quickdraw I've used (incl. Djinns, Photons, etc.), save for the Petzl Spirit, which are significantly more expensive. When climbing with both, I found there were times I still preferred the Hotwire. As for durability, my set looks close to new, after over a year of climbing and traveling, and despite catching a share of lead falls. The adonization on several shows minor signs of wear where the rope runs, but that is expected. Overall, at this performance/price point, you're hard pressed to beat this draw!

My favorite sports draws!
I love that you can get these in multiple sizes! They are durable and cheap! They are the only quickdraws I use for sport climbing. I know once I clip into one of these bad boys I’m safe to whip as hard as gravity can throw me. Great feeling, great clip, peace of mind in a burley quickdraw.

Great biners
I actually bought this cuz I already have some draws but like the clipping action of the hotwire carabiners and it’s cheaper to buy this draw than two of those biners. Solid draw overall, but I am not a fan of hook nose carabiners on the bolt side cuz it’s a bit of a pain when cleaning.
Love the weight and durability. The wires on the gate are sturdy and make clipping much easier. While I would prefer to have a hybrid system, if you are looking to save weight and still have great durability, these are perfect.
