Throughout this book the author gets confused by, and usually chooses wrongly, things as ridiculously simple as where the top of Mount Baldy is. If you're interested in a hiking book for Southcentral Alaska I'd go with one of the older books. They're a bit dated but at least those authors know what they're talking about.
