Great for winter trail riding!
I'm using the 27.5 x 4 version of the tire running at 6 - 7 psi for a 195 lb person. I'm still trying to find the best psi but have found these tires to have excellent traction and ride comfort. I've been riding them primarily on singletrack in wooded areas with a combination of ice, soft snow and some mud along with some riding on pavement and gravel roads. I find they handle very well in all conditions. They get up to speed very nicely on pavement and I can surprisingly ride them around 18 mph fairly easily - I wasn't expecting that from a fat tire. They mounted very easily on my 80 mm Whiskey Carbon rims - I didn't even need tire levers to mount them. I am running them tubeless. I think they are a great tire for mixed winter riding conditions and am very happy to have purchased them.
