Very good!
Very good product. Installed to straps of CANON EOS 650, 1100D and 7d mk2. Previously it was quite annoying that straps got in the way when changing between horizontal/vertical,but now it's easy to change strap anchor point. I especially like one-handed use. Also this allowed to keep using existing strap which had remote control case installed with 7d mk2.
Good for your favorite strap
The anchor links allowed to use my favorite strap and to easily switch back to the pd leash when I need it. Plus it came with 4 snappy things so that I can use my straps across multiple cameras very quickly and easily. There are well made and durable. I use them with my mirrorless, DSLR and film cameras, no worries about them breaking at all. The pd leash is also very nice and good for a DSLR as well as smaller cameras.
Very Useful
You want to turn a third party belt into a Peak design compatible belt? Use this small package and you've got it. This was one of my first items as I was not sure wether I would like the anchor links (now I am convinced) and a great step into the Peak Design family.
A must-have for the multi-camera enthusiast
I (like many people) found myself caught up in a film craze a while back. I would go to thrift stores in search of old discarded film cameras that I could breathe new life into. This meant that I very quickly found myself with a bookshelf full of old film cameras. The peak design strap system is by far the easiest, most confidence instilling system on the market. The anchor links seat into place with a satisfying click giving me every confidence they are going to hold onto my camera. I now have anchor links on all 15 of my cameras making strap swapping a breeze. I would highly recommend to anyone with an extra camera body or two lying around.
Use camera on more natural way
Excellent system to use camera without straps, I have founded that I’m using it more often in street photography or if I want to try different straps. And what about carrying one strap per bag for more cameras.
Excellent Product
I was hesitant to give up my camera strap, but I had been eyeing peak design camera straps for several months. When I realized that they sold anchor links separately, it was a no brainer purchase. Shipping was very fast and installing the anchor links to my camera strap/camera was very easy. The clips feel sturdy and secure and it is extremely convenient to be able to remove the camera strap when you would prefer to hand hold the camera without a bulky strap waving around or if you need to quick remove the strap for tripod use. 100% recommend this product if you are not already getting a peak design strap that comes with the quick release anchor links!
Just What I Needed!
As someone that loves to do landscape and long exposures, it was crucial to me to find a setup that allowed me to remove the strap in a quick manner. Who wants a strap blowing in the wind moving your camera while taking a long exposure? There is only one down side to this setup... I originally purchased a complete strap and anchor setup, my absent-minded self removed the strap while doing a long exposure Milky Way shot and forgot to put my strap some place safe. I left it in the middle of nowhere. But, I happily purchased some anchors and used the setup on my original Canon strap. Remember not to lose it! :)
Small and useful
I have bought several of the sets over the years and have never regretted it. As I like to take photos freehand, I love the freedom of the anchor links, nothing gets in the way, but if a strap or wrist strap is needed to secure the camera, they can be quickly clicked on. Whether it is a small camera, a large camera or binoculars, everything can be quickly secured and released again, even with one hand. The quality is very good, the price is reasonable.
an idea
a good idea, convert existing srtrap. my only real issues are the loops make me nervious if i use on my TLR. i am afraid the mount might slice the loop. over time. also i wonder if they are strong enough to hold a mamiya c330. i guess i will see over time. the loops seem to ba a consumable, so there should be less expensive, in case i wanted to replace one, as it wears.
Such an amazing invention
These anchor links are the underlying technology behind so many Peak Design products. Because they're so fundamental to so many of the things they built, I think they don't get enough attention. I absolutely love the anchor link system. It is amazing how easy it is to change my clutch strap to my sling depending on my needs, without having to redo straps with complex buckles. The push and release mechanism is pure genius. Needless to say, I have a link permanently attached to my keys, and everytime I have little pocket space, the first thing I do is hook my keys onto my PeakDesign backpack
