The best wool socks, hands down. I've been wearing wool socks for years and have tried a number of different brands. Some others may be more comfortable, but none match the durability of these bad boys. They're not uncomfortable per se, they're just not as cushy and stretchy as some others out there. Is it worth sacrificing a little comfort for the durability? Absolutely. Not only do these socks far outlast all other pairs, but if you put a hole in them, Darn Tough will replace them. I am slowly replacing all of my socks with Darn Toughs since they are truly the superior sock. These socks score extra style points as well! Couldn't recommend them more.
Very comfortable and warm . I love the feel and the quality.
The socks are the best in the business. The ankle has a special flat textile which holds socks in place but it makes the socks too tight for my high arched ankle.
Love Darn Tough socks. They are a durable, well made, merino wool sock, that feels great & fit well. They wash up nicely, (I wash in cool to lukewarm & dry low heat) in which they Keep their shape. The BEST fact is, they have a life time, unconditional guarantee! They offer fun designs.. colors like this one. Pleased with purchase.
kept my feet dry and blister free on a 23 mile hike through Florida's Green Swamp. Will be taking them to more places for sure. I was worried that with the heat and humidity here that these simply would not do as advertised but they work perfectly. Great socks. would recommend.
might be my favorite pair from DT. I never dry them in a clothes dryer and they are holding up very well. aesthetics are nice as well. now I see that they are discontinued. why must you do this cruel world?
These socks feel great and seem well made. Nicely padded. My only qualm is they went from XL to largish after one wash. Being a size 15 foot that’s a bit of a problem for me.
I thought these socks would be fun to go along with my many other Darn Toughs, because of the picture on the top. I couldn't quite understand the picture; I thought is was a UFO or rocket ship in the woods. When I received them, I took a better look and saw a crescent moon to go along with the light. Humm... Of course, there are those buildings in the forest with the crescent moon and a light from the user. Fun and comfortable socks.
I used to wear all cotton socks and thought they were the best until my friends introduced me to Marino wool. I tried a couple of brands before eventually landing on darn tough. I’ve purchased so many so far and can’t get enough. Nothing is like is as comfortable and durable like darn tough. I really like this sock pattern and it has become my favorite sock. I think it has been discontinued and I don’t know why.
These socks are awesome and darn tough. I can't imagine hiking in cotton ever again. Plus the designs are cool. But wait, there's more!!! A lifetime warranty, what else could you ask for?
