Shoe breaks easily DO NOT BUY
I bought these shoes in the middle of October 2019 so they arrived towards the end of the month. I wore them 1-2 times a week just to walk around to classes and today they broke. Did not have them for long, didn't wear them for anything other than walking, now they are useless as they can no longer be waterproof and I live in a rainy city. Do not buy if you want shoes that will last
Great while they last
They are great looking rain boots, Very comfortable for walking. I had good experience with bogs in winter snow boots for my daughters, however these rain boots lasted only one year with normal use. The rubber is thin and broke in the seam from the sole to the segment right above where it bends by walking. Therefore all water leaks trough these cracks.
Size was off
I usually wear a size 9 shoe and 10 running shoe so I ordered a size10 thinking I would be working and walking a lot in the boot and they were way too large- too long and bulky around the foot- even after adding in super feet insoles like I use with my running shoes. I returned the 10s and ordered a size 9. They fit much better, with or without the added insole. The 9s fit like a true size 9 casual shoe or boot. They seem well constructed and I like the wider heel, coloring for the light green was a bit off, some color variation across the top of the toe. Looking forward to getting them dirty!
Not comfortable
These boots are too narrow and not at all good for a high instep.
My go-to boots!
Wore these almost every day this past year, from the southwest to New England - in city snow and rain, intensive mucking around with goats, traveling by plane, and even - most ridiculously - hiking off trails in the Sonoran desert. They have reasonably good traction, are comfortable, fit well and stay on - tho not difficult to get off. I normally wear 10.5, but ordered 10 and size is Just Right. Double-up on woolly socks for cold; otherwise - I’ve got nothing but good to say. Kept my feet dry, and wore well. Only after a year of very heavy, rough use is one small crack starting to develop in the upper. Quality product!! Also - I have narrow feet, so really appreciated that these aren’t so wide as most rain boots
great sole, too little padding in ball of foot
A serious city hiker. Boots seriously lack padding under ball of foot. One day early on I got a massive blood blister. Maybe bad socks?? Added Superfeet insoles and fixed problem. Sole does not pick up mud or rocks. Good traction. Easy to clean. Bought black. Would buy another color (on sale)
