Great for brief chilly outings

I wanted something lightweight, roomy and made with wool for short trips outside (Ohio fall/winter/spring). These work very well, and provide a better moisture barrier than the Smartwool part-merino knit liners I have used for some years (and are no longer available as such -- Smartwool's current version is awful for several reasons). Size feedback: I have large hands for a woman, so usually go with men's L/XL. However, L in this model still has very long fingers (probably 3/4" too much for me), so an M would have been a better choice.

Poorly made, disappointing -- unsatisfactory refund

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These gloves fell apart after less than two months of moderate use. Large holes appeared in the fingertips, which, given the weave technology, are spreading to the entire glove. Icebreaker refused to refund my purchase, providing only a gift card, so instead of getting my money back, my only option is to have a second pair of poorly made gloves. It's worth emphasizing, I didn't do any work or sports in the gloves -- i.e., no shoveling, no skiing, etc. I just put them on to drive to work. That's all it took for them to fall apart. The gloves were warm and worked well -- until they fell apart, which is part of why this is so disappointing. I thought I'd found a good product, but alas.

Nice gloves for moderately cold weather

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm always looking for gloves that fit my tiny little hands, and these in a size XS were perfect, just as the size chart suggested. The material feels nice and the conductivity for touchscreen use is good. However, the gloves are not quite as warm as the discontinued Land's End wool gloves I'd been hoping to replace - more appropriate for above-freezing than below-freezing temperatures. There's also a very large and uncomfortable tag in the wrist, although that could probably be removed if you don't mind losing washing instructions.

good gloves but don't last

I used this product from Dec too March and already developed holes in the fingers. If it was not for the longevity I would have liked the product

Not good

Not a very good product. Doesn’t keep hands warm at 40°, and doesn’t work very well on touchscreens. Disappointing.

Please cover more of the palm & fingers w/better suede

I love the RealFleece inside. But When I buy gloves like this, supposedly with grippiness, I want gloves that actually DO have good gripping power in wet or dry conditions! I want to be able to grab a wet ski pole or a snowy cup and have it actually grip well. These don't have enough grip and the grip does not cover enough of the palm. The grip fabric also needs to *extend to fingers and thumb*!!! What's the point of putting any grip on the gloves if it doesn't work?!?!

Gloves that FIT!

I ordered a medium and it actually fits like a medium. I've had so many bad experiences with gloves where the fingers are too long or the glove is too tight but this one fits perfect and is great as a base laser for my ski gloves and larger gloves for winter bicycle commuting.

Exactly what I wanted

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very anti-online purchasing when I can not pick up the item and see for myself. However, this was exactly what I was hoping for! I have small hands, so finding an XS was great. It fits perfectly, travels well, and works on my smartphone without having to remove them.

Hoped to be warmer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hoping these gloves were going to keep my hand warm while biking during the winter, but they are more like liners to wear under another pair of gloves in case of really cold temperature. The fit is perfect and the quality as well.

Not as warm as I had hoped

I really love my "REI Polartec Power Stretch Fleece Gloves", but I wanted to find a pair of light gloves that are warmer. These are not any warmer and may actually be less so, so I'm going to return them.
