I enjoy this bag so far, but there are a few annoying things. First the bag is 18.25" tall, not 17.7" as described. I know this is nitpicky, but I was specifically looking for a bag that was under 18" to better fit under airline seats. I also don't like the fad of using mesh on the straps. It doesn't provide any benefit. The mesh used is abrasive against the skin and also feels hot against the skin. The bag could also use a key clip and some organization in the outer pocket. Otherwise the bag is pretty nice. The main zipper can be hard to operate but is the consequence of having the weather resistant flap over the zipper.
This pack is everything I was looking for. I wanted something to carry my mostly used gear. I wanted it to look nice but also to be comfortable to carry. I love everything about it. I would love to see a 40 L from this pack soon. Great job fjallraven!
I needed one bag that could be large enough that I can use for a carry on, small enough that I can use as a personal item for under a plane seat, stylish enough to want to carry daily to work with my laptop, and rugged enough to take as a day pack for hiking, and this one definitely fills all of those needs. I love this bag and never thought I'd love a bag so much! Great quality, comfortable, versatile, sturdy but not too structured that it can't be folded or squished down.
This backpack has everything going for it; clean uncluttered design with white interior to easily locate an item, durable material, and lightweight. Another plus was the laptop sleeve. It is well padded including on the bottom for sufficient protection of the laptop, which I have not seen in many other backpacks in this same class. Cons: Found it to difficult to place items inside the main compartment. It is far too rigid of a shell making the task of placing and retrieving something from it unpleasant.
This bag is exactly what I was looking for! I needed to replace my ripping computer bag for work and wanted something simple, functional, and not ultra feminine that could travel easily between my urban office and also remote construction sites. It is stylish but not flashy and is very comfortable to wear. I love the hidden front pocket, it's waterproof material, and that it can expand nicely without looking strange.
I love this backpack for its minimalist design. It’s also lightweight and feels really comfortable when I wear it. It would be the perfect commuter-backpack if only it had more zippered pockets to organize stuff. The inside of the top lid would really benefit from two mesh, zippered, compartments like on the Ulvo 30. I find myself in need of storing miscellaneous stuff more efficiently and the main compartment doesn’t really help with that. I guess, for me, the perfect day-to-day backpack would be a mix of the Raven 20 ( in terms of organization) and Ulvo 23 (in terms of sleek design, water repellency and chest strap)
I love this backpack. I've had it for a few months. It's sleek and good-looking. The water bottle pockets hold smaller water bottles and larger (32oz) water bottles without taking out. I wish there was a second inner mesh pocket for more organization. I like the sternum strap and shoulder straps. It's slim and has just enough space for a day.
Neat. Well designed and really simple. Perfect size for daily chores. Highest quality craftsmanship. Looks like it will last a lifetime. Many competitors. To me, after looking at all of them, was the best.
Great EDC pack! Probably buy another to have when this one wears out although so well made that will be long from now.
Chose the Ulvo 23 over Raven 20, pretty much for the compression strap, sternum strap and aesthetics. I do like the bag a lot. It's sleek. Quality is good. Back panel is impressively sturdy. However, like some people have already commented, I do find myself constantly wishing for at least one more zipped pocket for organization, or another sleeve for a tablet/notebook/documents. I have yet to heard if the interior water proofing layer will de-laminate with age , but if you really prefer longevity and willing to compromise on water resistance, my money is on the Raven 20.
