Nice! Very Colorful and Easy to Install

Not my first choice for a spoke light. I wanted something that would create a pattern when my wheel spins. Unfortunately, none of them seem to be waterproof. I ride in all weather conditions so all of my electronics need to weather proof. When I saw these lights at the store, I knew that they would be perfect. They completely seal out water so I do not need to worry about riding with them in the rain. They are also rechargeable but they do not come with a charging cable. However, if you own other rechargeable lights on your bike, chances are they will work with their charging cable. Installation was simple. The light snaps onto one spoke and the wings help keep the light secure by wedging them between two other spokes. The button on the center of the light can be difficult to press especially when it is cold out. One press activates the light. Immediately after activation press the button again to cycle through the colors, 4 in all or you can leave it on random. The colors really standout at night and in low light and they are sure to increase your side visibility. They also really improve the look of my bike by having my wheels light up.

The most important bike light money can buy.

You need these for night riding. I have a bike and a trike, and I have one on every wheel to keep from being run over by cars that run stop signs because they don't see any cars coming. I don't care how many head or tail lights you have, if you are making a turn in an intersection, you are INVISIBLE to a car coming from the left or right. I look like a Christmas tree now, but the near misses are a thing of the past. I also wear a flashing strobe light on my helmet so I can shine it directly in the eyes of a menacing driver. It is so effective that if I raise my head up and aim it at a car with high beams on, they will dim their lights every time. I look at drivers at intersections to make sure I can exercise my right to be in traffic with them.

Bright light, but major usability problems.

Riding with these for 3 months. Very bright, much brighter than the non-rechargeable mode - Kudos for that. The cons/flaws affect usability: - no warning of low battery - the light just shuts down - the lights must be completely removed from the bike for recharging (unless your bike is parked next to an outlet/charger), a somewhat dirty and tedious process. - the lights always start with a red color, and if one prefers another setting, one must cycle through the options each time the lights are powered up. The no low-battery warning and always starting in red seem odd, given that most other bike lights have had those features now for years. They really should make a 2.0 version with a removable cartridge for charging. That would be a HUGE improvement.

HELPS TO BOOST THE VISIBILITY OF MY BIKE

This Nite Ize Spoke light helps to boost the visibility of my bike in a fun way, is rechargeable, sustainable, and can be turned on and off at the push of a button BEFORE you start riding. I use this in addition to the regular strobe lights for early morning and early evening bike rides.

Great for dark winter and night riding

This thing is great and really bright and fun for dark winter and night riding. It's kind of hard to push the button to turn it on and off, and also kind of a pain to get it on and off the spokes for recharging. But it seems sturdy and does its job. We had the similar one with batteries, and used it often enough that we got the rechargeable kind. This one is a bit easier to use than that one, and you don't have to keep buying the little disc batteries for it, which can be dangerous with little kids around.

Increased Visibility

I bought these lights for my son who commutes in Portland Oregon. He likes the increased side view visibility that they provide to other vehicles, especially in the dark and rainy NorthWest conditions. Great price for such an important rechargeable safety bike accessory.

DON'T BUY! Falls right off - unmountable.

You might be able to mount these temporarily, but they will down and fall off no matter you do. They gave no thought to how these can be mounted and are therefor worthless. The only thing that could hold is maybe some zip ties or duct tape.

DON’T BUY THESE - ROTTEN PRODUCT

Several problems with these puppies: 1.One of the two lights refuses to go on despite repeated attempts and contorted variations trying to turn on. Now I’m left with only one light. 2. Almost impossible to install these on the wheels. With a design look that make it look like they’d be easy to install, they are anything but. Again, repeated attempts, contorted variations with each attempt. No luck. Money down the drain. DON’T BUY

Love these lights!

I got these to put on my sons bike! It’s extremely important to me that if we happen to be out riding and it starts to get dark that he is easily visible. These surely do a great job! I’ve had them for a year now, they hold up great! They’ve been in rain, snow, mud, you name it! And the fact that they are rechargeable is just the cherry on top! Quality product, I would definitely purchase again!

They are good product but I have a fat tire e bike and I have to zip ties to secure to wheel spoke. Very cool looking I also purchased some nite iz wheel little Disk lights together they are a light show real Head turner and visibility in darker areas of road is definitely a 10 star product and small disk lights fit All wheel spoke sizes.
