Measurements are stated in inches unless otherwise indicated. Size chart values represent body measurements, not garment measurements.
SHORT: Some pants are available in short sizes, which generally means an inseam that is 2.5 inches shorter than regular sizes.
TALL: Some pants, shirts, jackets and parkas are available in tall sizes, which generally means an inseam that is 3 inches longer and a rise that is 1 inch longer, a shirt or jacket body that is 2 inches longer, a parka body that is 2.5 inches longer and sleeves that are 2.5 inches longer than regular sizes.
Capri or cropped pants have an intentionally shorter inseam—reference the technical specs instead of this chart.
Inseam is measured to the floor.

Fits well, kind of stylish, but not versatile at all. The fabric is not breathable at all which you would think would be less of an issue since it's a vest, but it's definitely noticeable. Worn in very windy conditions this is an advantage but any other time it just creates a really sweaty clammy feel. This vest has minimal insulation material, only insulation comes from the fact that it doesn't breathe, there's no waist cinch to lock out cold air or adjust fit. Other vests made from breathable insulation are far more versatile--worn in warmer conditions they breathe well, in colder conditions they insulate w/o that clammy feeling.
Nice work REI, this is a quality versatile product. I've taken it on the trail for runs, hikes, and even mtn bike rides and it has yet to let me down. This vest is lightweight, comfortable, durable, and packs extremely small. The biggest surprise has been how often I grab it on my way out the door. There are two minor things that keep me from giving this product an 'excellent' review. Although the fabric is really durable, it could be a little more breathable; and the zipper is a bit difficult to engage. Minor complaints for what has turned out to be a staple in my technical gear quiver.
With an outer nylon shell, it can be a bit a noisy. There is also no draw string for those that may want a more snug fit around the waist, but with short sleeves air will get in anyways. It does have 2 good hand pockets that each has 2 smaller pockets capable of holding a couple of keys and maybe bite size snacks for the longer runs. If you want to wear this on the go, it does lack a phone specific pocket if that's what you look for. It is light and comfortable and good for cool runs, May be good with layers, but didn't get to test that out. For sizing.. I am avg build (like model in pic) at 5'10 ~175# and a large fits perfect for me
This vest is pretty much as advertised; very light weight, and also adds some core warmth. I also used it a few times on colder hikes as a extra layer and thought it worked well for that function, too. The large fit perfect for me (6'3", 200 lbs).
This vest is lightweight, wind-blocking, has a really light liner to keep you warm, and very convenient hand pockets with a stow pouch inside (big enough for iPhone 8) to limit bounce of select items. My wife says it looks like a "trash bag", but I actually started to like its boxy utilitarian design. I tested it out on runs, hikes, bikes and even layering for everyday activities. Unlike some of the other lightweight shells on the market, this piece is a little funky and I'm not sure I'll use it very often. The insulation is great to get started on a cold run, but I found it was too hot once I was truly warmed up. Simultaneously, the sleeveless design makes it a poor choice for cold mountain conditions, because your arms have no protection at all. I found that there were pretty narrow conditions when this vest fit my needs. If I need something lightweight, I'll continue to reach for an unlined shell and add/subtract insulation depending on my workload and the weather.
I bought this vest for winter running warmth. I honestly didn't give it a chance upon receiving it because it looked and felt like a trash bag, and fit like one too. It has a loose fit and I just couldn't see how it would keep me warm at all.
I hike with my versatile hunting dogs every day. This is the perfect light weight option for those wet but warm days. It doesn't breath as much as would like but this vest is very comfortable.
This thing is great. Lightweight, looks cool, and is a perfect thin layer of extra warmth. Let me keep my long-sleeve in the hiking bag on an early cool morning in the mountains west of Denver.
Bought this vest at a discount; so the price I paid for this was worth it. Nice fit, not very tight nor loose, just the right amount. Good ventilation through openings
Great fit. Moves with you so well you forget you are wearing it. Does surprisingly well in cold weather.
