Sizing Notes

Measurements are stated in inches unless otherwise indicated. Size chart values represent body measurements, not garment measurements. Some women's pants are available in petite and tall sizes. Typically petite sizes fit women 4'11" to 5'3". Regular sizes fit women 5'4" to 5'8". Tall sizes fit women 5'9" to 5'11".

PETITE: Generally, as compared to regular sizes, petite sizes are 2.5 inches shorter in inseam, 1 inch shorter in body length, 1.25 inches shorter in sleeve length and ¾ inch shorter in total rise.

TALL: tall sizes are 3 inches longer in inseam, 2 inches longer in body length, 2.5 inches longer in sleeve length and 1.25 inches longer in total rise.

Capri or cropped pants have an intentionally shorter inseam—reference the technical specs instead of this chart.

Inseam is measured to the floor.

My new favorite underwear
Received free product
I have worn exclusively performance underwear for many years and this pair quickly became my go-to. It is full-coverage in the back on an athletic frame without being high rise in the waist (it hits right at the hip bone) or restrictive in the legs. The best part? They do not budge, no matter the activity. The material is incredibly lightweight and comfortable - you really can forget you're wearing these. They also dry very fast and hold up well across multiple overnight sink washings, making them ideal for minimalist travel/backpacking. They are essentially invisible under everything I've worn them with including leggings. My only caution is that many of those looking for a nude option will likely have some difficulty obtaining a skin-tone match with the current color offerings.

The brief that's not a brief
Received free product
I received the briefs which were more of a hipster style panty. The fabric was soft and I liked the red color. The challenge I had was the panty was very high waisted and came above the top of my pants. I found they didn't stay in place with my uniform pants. They bunched when I wore jeans. I didn't find them comfortable to wear. The underwear seemed true to size.

Almost met expectations

The briefs are lightweight, soft, and full coverage. They dry quickly and stay in place when hiking and moving about around camp. I bought two pair for a winter backpacking trip, and the stitching near a seam on one pair failed after 1 day of use. I suspect it is just a singular defect and am working with the company to replace the item.

Best of all the cuts

I have tried the REI bikini, hipster, and brief and decided that these are the most comfortable of the 3. I am 5'5 120 lbs and I have a round butt that seems to attract wedgies from most underwear, so I think the bikini was cut a little too high for me. The hipsters seem to be the flimsiest (bought 2 pair that fell apart immediately) and they are cut pretty low, so they barely cover the top of my butt. The brief comes up higher, has lower leg openings, and the black briefs i have seems sturdier than the hipsters. Initially I was turned off by how grandma-ish the product photo looks but they aren't too bad looking on.

great for travel

Received free product

I got to demo these underwear on a two week trip to Mexico that included quite a bit of hot, sweaty forest hiking. They stood up to the challenge- were easy to wash out, dried incredibly fast (especially since the climate was so humid), and were super comfortable the entire time I wore them. I'd probably buy them in a lower cut next time, but frankly the higher waist was good for the fact that my belly has grown (4 months pregnant). They were my regular size (medium) and never felt restrictive or as if they'd shifted to the wrong place. Will definitely be buying more.

Breathability is great, but they fell apart.

I didn’t feel as sweaty wearing these, so I was quite excited to have found them. The second time I was about to put them on, I noticed that they had come apart. A tad disappointing.

Super comfy

Received free product

This pair of underwear is one of the most comfortable I've ever owned. It's great for anything active - I've worn them hiking, running, and to yoga. They are really breathable and don't get as sweaty as normal cotton underwear does when I'm working out. However, the price is quite steep. It's hard to justify paying $18 for a pair of underwear, so I could see myself just getting one or two pairs in the future for activewear, but definitely not a ton of pairs as an everyday thing. These do seem like they'll last a while though.

Be warned - some briefs contain cotton

The product as described deserves a 4.5 star rating. Ordered the Honey Beige in September and have been very happy with it - lightweight, breathable, no cotton. Slightly on the loose side but not uncomfortably so, and I would consider them TTS. I liked it so much that earlier this month I ordered another pair (in the Luna Stripe Twilight Purple). Nowhere in the description does it say that some colors have different fabric makeups, but the purple (at least) comes with a cotton gusset. The whole point of these for me is a pair of underwear for hiking/outdoor activity in the rain. Unfortunately, since I thought I was getting the exact same product, I did not check anything but the size before tossing in the washer, or I would have returned. I might try removing the gusset. Great product if you get the non-cotton version, but avoid the purple!

Super comfy despite grandma look

Received free product

When I first tried them on I thought "OMG, I have turned into my grandma!" because they look like the panties she used to wear (but then, I know women my age who are grandmas). However, they fit really well and stay put all day and throughout various activities (including hiking and running). The fabric feels great and it's not too thin and not too thick. Also no tight bands anywhere digging into your skin. I'll likely get a few more of them.

Comfy

I bought a mix of the briefs and bikini version and both are pretty comfortable. The material is a very fine, thin pinhole mesh that is stretchy and soft, but so far is durable. I wash on cold/gentle and hang dry. I have worn them frequently with leggings and there's been minimal VPL. I've never had a problem with them rising above the waistline of whatever bottoms I am wearing, but I tend not to wear anything low cut so this might be good to keep in mind when deciding to purchase--what type of clothing you'll be wearing over these briefs. The colors are depicted pretty accurately here. There were no surprises on that end when they arrived. I only wish there were more to choose from because I have been surprised at how often I grab these for daily wear when they are supposed to be just for hiking, camping, and climbing!
