Great design, lightweight, breathes well!
I was a little nervous about this purchase because I was worried about the weight and the breathability of the jacket. However, I can definitely say that it breathes extremely well, and I was surprised by how light the jacket is. The tag it comes with says "watch water roll right off..." so I actually ran some water over the sleeve and, sure enough, it rolls right super fast! I also love the fit. It's slim without being too constricting. I like the loopholes for the thumbs as well. They're tucked inside the sleeves as opposed to being cutouts. I think that's a nice touch. Overall very well-constructed, high quality jacket!
Great lightweight jacket
Got some heavy use out of it today so perfect timing for the review. Kept me completely dry in a good mist and drizzle. Then the sky opened up on me. The jacket did it’s job the best it could in the conditions it was presented with. The hood wanted to come off in the wind but held on. Love the loops to keep the sleeves down. I’m 6’2” 195lbs and wear a size large. Fit is good. I don’t like a lot of loose fabric during a run. If I had a gripe; it could be a little more breathable I guess. Maybe some zippered underarm holes? Definitely not complaining. For the price you pay this is a great jacket to keep you dry.
Just right.
I really love this jacket. Extremely light and fits well, and I love the thumb loops. I'm 6'-0" and 140 lbs., and the medium fits well with some room to layer if I need to. It makes a lot of difference when dealing windy, cold days. This isn't a rain jacket, so set your expectations accordingly. But it handles misty, drizzly days quite well. I would like a better way of stowing the hood securely when not in use, but that's a minor thing. Overall the jacket is just right for me.
Nice light jacket
Super light weight jacket. Nice for light rain or outside layer to keep out the wind. It's been unusually cold this spring with temps in the 30's in the morning. I've been wearing this over a long sleeve running shirt and it's been perfect. I like the thumb loops that keeps the sleeves down. Those are pretty standard on long sleeve running shirts, but this is the first jacket I've owned that has had those. I'm 5'9" /170lbs and the medium fits great.
Really good to have
Very good lightweight rain jacket. I like the thumb bands in the arm sleeves it’s a great detail. The only thing I would change is that I wish the hood folded under a collar to hide away. Instead the hood is rolled and fastened with a loop and snap closure but still gets the job done. Knowing my luck this feature will be updated days after I purchase this in a newer model (Canopy Jacket 2.0 I’m guessing). Overall satisfied purchase.
Love this jacket!
Love this Jacket. Great weight, for 3-4 season running and fits really well. I am 6'3" 185# and I ordered a medium. It has a fitted cut but enough room to put another 1-2 layers underneath, if needed. Its lightweight and breaths very well. Sometimes jackets tend to not fit me in the torso, but this one fits very well, not too short and not too long. My wife thinks is wicked stylish too.
This jacket met all my expectations. Great fit, comfortable during runs and hikes. and shedded rain even during some heavy, though brief showers. It will due double duty as emergency jacket during my bus and walk commute. Keep making it a variety of colors and I'll buy more for my nephews. Thumb holes were a big draw for me as I need to protect my red-headed 65-year old skin!
Very nice jacket, will buy again
Very nice jacket. Used over a t-shirt on 2 hikes up Lassen peak recently. Wicked sweat well and was light enough to wear on the way down as sun protection. Is not a windbreaker but does offer some protection. Like the fit and the pockets. I'm 5ft 6 ordered a medium but was too long, the small fit right. Returning the medium was easy. Will buy again.
Great Jacket
A great jacket that I find I wear all time, not just for running. It is slim athletic fit which I really like because it doesn't have a lot of excess fabric. One thing that is odd, is that one pocket is smaller than the other and it's a little tight to get your hand in and out of. Overall I think it's great quality, fit and stylish.
Great fabric and design. I love the sleeve design which can be worn as a regular jacket or over the hand for cooler weather. The only problem I see is the fit. It's definitely a thinner persons style of jacket...meaning, if you are a thicker person like I am you might fill out the jacket quicker than some other options on the market.
