I buy this product every year. Awesome!

Used as work pants year round. Material is very very durable. Washed daily and holds up great! 1 minor minor downside... I use a Grunden elastic push button release belt with these pants and it works great. I have to remind the guys that they are not Grundens pants. North Face- Get a belt like Grundens on these pants and you are golden. I beat these up every day, wash every day and they last me for a full year. I even have the old pair made into shorts with the ankle cuff reinforcement backing added to the inner short leg bottom. Awesome product. Want year round- get the uninsulated and you only have to wear long underwear for the winter. Totally warm.

Great for Skiing and Outdoor Duty Wear

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great snow pants for both skiing and outdoor duty gear. My first time using these was a ski trip to Heavenly-Lake Tahoe and they were perfect for hitting the fresh powder and almost 0 temperatures. Then on the last day the temps were above 30 and the built-in vents were great to regulate my body temperature. My second time using these were for a -20 degree night on patrol as a law enforcement officer. They fit great over my duty pants and I was able to attach my duty belt just fine thanks to the built-in belt loops. An excellent cold weather exterior pant.

Exactly what I was looking for in snowboard pant

I use it for snowboarding and it's phenomenal. Exactly what I wanted. Not insulted so I don't get too hot and I control that by layers. But wind resistant and water resistant so snow is not and issue or mist. Have full range of motion when snowboarding and very durable that it doesn't rip when I fall numerous times. It does have that layer you put over the boot so no snow gets in which is great. Zipper pockets so nothing falls out. Next ones I plan to get are the insulated version so I have both kinds.

Great snow pants and worth the money!

I use these to go sledding with my son. With jeans under they are great to about -13c if I wear jeans and long johns they are likely good to -20 or more. So far no water or moisture coming through at all and great for blocking the wind.I have size L, I'm a 33 waist and 32 leg in jeans and I find these fit me just a bit large.. but I'm sure a M would be way too small.. I bought a nylon belt to use with them and it keeps them from sagging and slipping. Great Buy!

For shoveling snow dog walking

I'm 5'10 150, sm fits ok over boots but feels long and dragging as the bottom is wide. Keeps dry in wet snow days, wear stand-alone warm to minus 5 to 10 degrees, great for walking dog. Does feel a bit hot doing snow shoveling for a double car driveway without opening the vents. Pockets are useful/warm, could be a great pair insulated pants to wear on a regular Canadian winter day if the bottom wasn't too big as it's designed to fit over snow boots.

Love the fit and color for a woman

I'm a woman that has quite thick thighs so most of the women's snow pants don't fit me. My issue with women's snow pants is that the waist is too loose and the thighs' area is too tight. These pants fit me a lot better and comfortably. The XXS small for men's definitely starts to get too tight around the thighs. Hope this helps other women ordering Men's snow pants. Aesthetically, I really like them as well. The orange color is great!

Poor durability, too weak for skiing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was initially very impressed with the Freedom Pants. I loved the color and overall style. I bought an XS hoping to have a extra snug fit. It worked out and I liked everything until I found a tear at the ankle of one of the legs. The material is waterproof and will keep you warm, but too thin and weak to be used by anyone wanting good long term ski pants. I had to return mine and look for something better.

Dry and durable!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in Minnesota and I get to use these snow pants often. They have been super comfortable even with layers below. They never feel baggy or bulky. I really enjoy the ability to change the waist to fit. These snowpants have been tested during sub zero weather, snowy/wet rain, and multiple trips down the sledding hill. They remain warm, dry, and durable throughout.
