Good glove for the job
Bought these for dog walking so I could have ability to open waste bags, get treats out of my pockets, take off leads without having to take off gloves. Would be better if thumbs were also exposed because well, thumbs are key to pretty much everything

Cold Fingers
I’ve been meaning to return these; I chose them bc the were far more comfortable than other options, also the button was sleeker than Velcro, so I decided to spend the extra money. But where it’s lacking is in keeping fingers warm... kinda the point, in the end. Just needs a thicker inner liner in the mitten part.

Too small, not warm enough

I’m not a large guy. I’m 5’8” and 160 lbs. But even after swapping out my mediums for larges, these gloves still feel too small, particularly in the thumb, which doesn’t feel long enough. The finger holes are also tight at the knuckles. I wore them outside tif the first time today. It was 32 degrees Fahrenheit and not windy. But just waving my arms as I walked, I felt the breeze my movement created penetrating the fabric. I wish they had a layer of Thinsulate or something like that. This bodes poorly for my plan to ride my bike with these things. I might seek a refund. Not sure yet. But these aren’t enough for an NYC winter, that’s for sure.

Ripped within 1 month

These gloves are warm and a great texture. I’m so disappointed, though, that the flap ripped a month after purchase without even daily wear. I just pulled the flap back to drive and they ripped at the seam.

Shockingly Terrible Design From A Reputable Brand

Patagonia missed the mark with these gloves. The core function of a convertible mitten is for the convertible aspect to be functional. In this product, it is not. The loop and button closure system is a terrible design. Why? It doesn’t stay closed. The loop is too big/the button is too small. Your jacket cuffs will pop it off. Flexing your hand will cause it to unhook. Why pay so much for something that doesn’t work well? I can work with snug finger holes or a slightly less articulated thumb gusset. But a convertible mitten that doesn’t stay converted? Patagonia with your priced the consumer deserved magnets, Velcro, or at least a bigger button.

Warm, Stylish & Functional

These gloves are exactly what I've been looking for! From mid November to the end of December I spend evenings outside for work at a zoo. We have 60k people come through the gates and I am needed anywhere, at anytime, for anything. Most gloves are too bulky and not easily transitioned. These kept me the right amount of warm when on the move, and allowed for the insertion of warming packs on nights when I was stationary. Considering buying another pair as backup - when you find something you like you never want to lose or wear them out!

Warm, well-made, TINY

I have relatively small hands for a dude. I ordered the mediums and could barely get them on. So, I gave them to my girlfriend and ordered the large. These are better, but my fingers are still tight and the thumb is barely long enough. SO, I've just ordered the XLs. I'd say if you're a dude, order 2 sizes up from what you would usually wear, and if you're a lady, 1 size up (my girlfriend would normally wear a small in unisex sizes).

OMG! The Best!

I needed warm gloves for scoring high school football games on an iPad but all gloves with a finger for texting don't work - they just clean your screen! I bought these, thinking they were a bit pricey, but they turned out to be amazing! First, there is a clip to bind them together, a loop on each one of them to help pull up or tug them on or off. Best of all, I can cover all but my texting finger so I can keep score. I love these gloves - they are warm and very versatile!

nice but with one flaw

one flaw for a pair of 55 dollar gloves. The loop on the mitted end is too large and easily slips off off the button leaving them dangling and looking silly. This is something i would expect from 15 dollar gloves not 55. Do better next time Patagonia.

Great gloves!

Very warm and the material feels nice. I live in AK and hike with a toddler daily - these are perfect for me. I go back and forth between mittens on and off, mittens fit well on and don't get in my way when off. Use the size guide to get the right fit. I have 2 pairs, S and M. S is nicely fitted, at first felt a little tight but after wearing once is comfortable. I use the M on colder days, feels a bit warmer with more room and fits my its really cold coat! Both keep snow out of the gloves/fingers.
