Patagonia Price Cut This Product Too Far
If you've never seen the model/version before this, you owe it to yourself to try to find one. While this is a wonderfully useful product, it's a former shell of what it used to be. Cheaper zippers inside and out along with cheaper top/bottom fabrics...the design from before the "remake" was a 5 star. If I compare that original product to Patagonia's current for-sale offering, this new product is very very poor quality. I just can't get over how terrible the zippers feel...on a $50 storage bag. I'd rather pay more money for Patagonia to keep the same quality product year-over-year then pay the same price and get a worse model every X-years due to increasing costs/inflation. Great product made worse to keep margins high :(
Addicted to the Black Hole lineup.
I've had the 3l and 6l sizes for a few years for toiletries and to keep my 55l blackhole organized. With a few trips coming up this holiday season I needed more organization that would accommodate bulkier winter items (chunky sweaters/hoodies/fleece/etc.) This fits the bill perfectly and nestles right into the duffle. Bought a couple different colors to keep things organized and it's become a great filing system so I know what's where while living out of a suitcase. We may have an addiction with five of these in the family now... (plus five 6l and my 3l and three 55l duffles). They are just so perfect for the rooftop carrier as they are water resistant and we don't have to worry if a little water did get into the carrier.
Perfect
I have been looking for something to pack our hiking boots in instead of old plastic bags. These were a perfect fit and much more environmentally friendly. The large cube fit my size 10 winter hiking boots just fine. It will make travel so much easier and contain the dirt.
Flight attendant bag
I’m a flight attendant and it works great on overnights. I use it for all my make up and hair products
Neat little pouch
I used several of these pouches to keep my photography gear organized. I love them. The pouch unzips into 2 halves. Each half has its own compartment.
Gear pouch
Solid little pouch. I use it for more of a gear pouch to house my paddling gear and accessories. It’s compact, light weight and seems to be pretty durable. I do wish the zippers were of better more durable quality considering the cost how ever I understand I may not be using it for its designated purpose. Over I’m happy with the purchase.
Fits an amazing amount of stuff
This packing cube is able to hold a ton of stuff. I use it to organize my trad climbing gear. Currently, it's holding: -Black Diamond Z4 #0.4 -Set of BD C4 #0.5 - 3 -Full set of 7 Totem cams -Full set of BD nuts #1-13 -Nut tool -6x 60cm alpine draws -3x 120cm alpine draws -6x regular sport climbing quickdraws -Pre-tied quad (18ft of 7mm cord) with 4 locking carabiners
Holds everything. . . I mean everything you need
It’s great. It holds everything I need, including my non travel hairdryer. The only thing that would make it better is perhaps one side sectioned into 2 separate sections, either one on top of the other or side by side. Because you can hold so much in the bag. It would be helpful to be able to organize a little more without buying extra bags for inside.
Packing cubes are great
As a larger individual I like the size. Have used it, and over stuff it, multiple times without issue. Have to admit that I use these when packing for a trip. On the way back things usually don't get packed as neatly.
