Best All-Around Activity Shorts Ever
Bought these in Azure/Medium, was a little bit skeptical spending this much on a pair of shorts but they're worth it; they look and feel great. These shorts became my go-to's for an entire week while exploring around Hawaii recently. I wore them surfing, hiked through Volcanoes National Park, and trekked through the jungle. They're remarkably well-constructed and I really like the zipper pockets. The waist ties ensure they stay snug while jumping into a waterfall lagoon or hiking with a pack/hip belt. They breathe well, dry fast, and are tough enough for some sharper rocky scrambles. As an added benefit, they look great hanging at a beach bar after a day of adventuring!
Great length for hikes and workouts
While no the most aesthetically appealing short on the market, the 5" inseam is great for hikes and workouts, especially squatting and deadlifting. The length provides breath-ability for hikes and does not bunch or stick to the quads during lifts. Visually, I don't think being able to see one's boxer briefs to be appealing. The 7.5" inseam also just looks more balanced on people even though short shorts seem to be back in fashion. The main draw for me is the fabric. It's extremely lightweight, has 4 way stretch, but still has some strength to it. It feels like thinner, stretchier swim trunks. This fabric seems to do better while camping, hiking, and hanging around outdoors than the gold standard Lululemon T.H.E. shorts. T.H.E. shorts are slightly softer, offers more stretch, makes noise when moving around but feels too delicate for the campfire. Two zipper pockets are great. I find the front zipper one to be very convenient. The back one I wish were on the side so I can still have my phone in my wallet when I sit and slide down a rock. Overall, these shorts rock for the outdoors. I'll be getting another pair soon.
Fav shorts
Had these for about 4 months now and they are my favorite workout shorts. They are comfy, have 2 regular pockets, 2 zip pockets and the camo is pretty understated but nice. I am probably going to buy another pair.

Best shorts in the game
High quality “short” shorts with functional pockets. 2 zippered and two—thigh pockets—deep enough so as to not worry about items falling out. I’m 6’2” 230lbs, and although I am trim, and based on their measurements a L, I needed an XL.
Vuori Changed The Sizing
Warning: Vuori changed the sizing for the 2024 version of these shorts. The waist size is over an inch bigger compared to past seasons. Out of curiousity I even wrote to Vuori customer service, who confirmed the manufactured size is bigger, and I didn't just get a defective pair. Pretty disappointing for a luxury clothing line that supposedly is meant for athletic people.
excellent shorts
I have a hard time finding lounge/workout shorts that fit me. I’d never worn Vuori and I’m glad I took the risk. These shorts are amazing. Perfect fit. I’m 6’ 185lbs and the L fits perfectly. They are stylish and feel well-constructed. They work well lounging, exercising, and swimming. Seriously great product.
sizing not the same as 7.5 banks
Own the XL 7.5 inseam for years love them. Saw the 5inch ones at the garage sale part in REI for 40 so I thought it was a good deal. They fit completely differently than the 7.5s. Very tight in crotch and thighs, waist is fine, but I can’t return since I bought them at the garage sale.
Can't miss - perfect shorts
Super comfortable, great texture. I'm 5'10" 25" waist. Size L is perfect. Versatile! Definitely buying more.
