Simple solution
I bought a bike and put a top tube bag on it. Despite the bag being an official accessory of the bike it made use of the water bottle cage impossible as the screw bosses are too high up on the down tube. This product by Wolf Tooth allowed me to install a side loading cage and full size water bottle. A good and inexpensive solution.
Useful
I use it to mount a b-rad bag below and my bike light battery above. Now i'm thinking of getting the 4-slot b-rad base.
