Reposition Top Tube bag

I purchased an Andrew the Maker top tube bag for my gravel bike. Unfortunately, the two top tube mounting points was about an 1 1/2” further back from the stem and thus could not get a tight secure fit bag to stem. Using B-Rad 2 slot mounting base allowed me to fasten it to the mounting screws and push it forward to reposition the bag closer to the stem. This product is designed to reposition duel mounting points on a bike such as bottle racks, cages and bags. You can lower bottle positions on your inner triangle to make room for a frame pack. That’s the purpose. It’s niche, not for everyone. But for those who thought if I could just move a top tube bag or bottle cage over to add another accessory you need this.

Exactly what I needed

The holes for the seat tube water bottle were in the wrong place on my new Cannondale Topstone gravel bike. The Wolf Tooth mount fits perfectly.

Why Wolf Tooth?

Why not add a third threaded mounting hole so that the 2-slot base would fill the need for expanding our 2-hole frame mounts to a 3-hole mount for increased capacity/flexibility while still filling the very limited function of repositioning those 2 mounts? That's a feature of all your other bases. Such a product would merit 5 stars. The very limited function of merely repositioning a 2-hole mount might merit 3 stars but deserves to be docked a star for the missed opportunity so the product as is merits 2 stars. I downgraded you one more star for sending me a product with an empty zip-loc baggy where there should have been mounting hardware. I've been happy with other Wolf Tooth products but this has been an extremely disappointing experience overall.

Not necessary. Did not use.

Website says you need this to attach the 0.6 liter bag to the frame. You DO NOT. The bag came with washers and the plate mounted directly to the frame. So I returned the B-rad bracket unused.

Adapter to reposition water bottle cage.

The mounting base is well designed, nicely machined, and well finished. It allowed one of the water bottle cages for the stoker position on a tandem to be raised for easier access.
