Don't Dry in Machine, it'll last longer if you line dry, and it dries quickly anyway. Fits slimmer, expect to be a little tighter than regular fit, but that's usually the point with layers like this. The thumb loops make layering really easy, sleeves don't snag and roll up your arm. Not super warm, but does help. You certainly won't overheat, and if you do, it does wick moisture very well and dries super quick. Very light, and great for backpacking or other activities. If I'm going to be stationary though, I'd rather have something heavier.
I used to buy tons of these but they totally changed the design and feel of the shirt recently. These shirts used to feel rugged and of quality, like something that would last and indeed mine have! The newer versions with the raglan sleeves feel very cheaply made and not durable at all, they are also much tighter fitting so i would recommend buying a size up.
Threads started coming out and started pelting after just one wash, returned it
I bought this base layer top for my husband because he works outside as a mail carrier, and he loves it! It is perfect and the right amount of thickness to keep him warm and dry while he’s out delivering mail. I am so glad that it worked out for him!
Bought one in green on a whim during the winter season to wear as a base layer skiing while skiing. Just bought a second in blue because I ended up wanting to wear it as my outer layer every time I went hiking once the weather warmed up. Blocks the sun great (not see through). There’s some light wear visible on the front where my hiking backpack belt strap rubs after a few months of usage, which might mean it holds up not great long term but for now they’re great, I wear them for every hike.
Guessing something must have changed for this year's model. Material feels very thin. Ordered my usual t-shirt size and the sizing is weird. Sleeve length good, shoulders good, and stomach good. But the chest - particularly at the armpit - was very tight. Medium is usually roomy on me and should not be this tight.
Very soft and comfortable. Good fit. Does a good job providing warmth; I often wear it without another garment over it. It is more resistant to dog's nails causing fabric pulls than a competitor's brand that I also have. I now own three of these.
Review says it all; excellent base layer, not too hot while still being warm enough and wicking well. It's very slim cut though and somewhat narrow in the shoulders, so recommend going up a size (even though you want a base layer to be relatively fitted); I'm a medium in 90% of the shirts I buy (6'3 but slim frame) and had to return for a large here
Perfect for cooler days on its own or over a capilene short sleeve for days with varying temps. Fits nicely, not too baggy or tight, thumb loops internally are great and help with gloves and layering. Dries quickly.
I have a 1/4 zip and a crew. These are both great daily use and base layer on active day shirts!
