They fit my shape!

These cargo pants are the only hiking pants I have ever found that comfortably fit my body! I have a small waist and a fuller derriere and these pants are beautifully made for women with an hourglass shape. Most hiking pants are cut too straight for me and don't have enough room in the inseam and seat, but these are beautifully and comfortably proportioned! The waistband is particularly comfortable, featuring a wide elastic and ties if you need more snugness. The fabric is sturdy quality as is the design and construction. I love all the nice roomy pockets. If you're hiking in tick country, the small elastic at the cuffs is perfect for keeping them snug about your ankles if you want to roll your socks or insect-repellant liners over them. They are cotton, not a light tech fabric, but I have worn them in the rain and they are thin enough that they dry quickly. 10/10, would buy again!

Good for casual workplace and hangouts with friend

Overall, I really like these pants. The color is good -- a little more brown than pink, which I prefer. And they walk a good line between nice-looking enough for work but casual enough for hanging out with friends or going on a low-key walk. It's a tight fit getting them over my hips and butt (I sized down per recommendations from another review), but once on, they fit fine, and I expect them to stretch out over time, which means they'll fit me for longer. My only actual complaint is that the snaps on the back pockets pop open whenever I pull the pants up, making a sound like a seam popping. Otherwise these are nice pants that I'll reach for often.

I Won't Lie... I Have These in 4 Colors & Buying My Fifth Pair Now

Listen.... when you find a pair of pants that are perfect, you have to buy multiple pairs in multiple colors. That's the case with these pants. They're so comfortable, so durable, and so good for just about everything. I've read some reviews that say these tend to run big but I haven't noticed that? I'm built with muscular legs, so the mediums felt with just enough room in the thighs/seat for me. And the waistband is elastic with a drawstring so that's easy enough to tighten if you do find they're feeling a little more roomy. MOUNTAIN HARDWEAR: PLEASE DON'T EVER STOP MAKING THESE PANTS, especially in the camo!

my go to pants

I'm 5'1 and I typically wear a 6-8 in pants so the small fits perfectly. These pants are stylish and sturdy. If you have a booty and strong thighs these really cling to them comfortably. They have a perfect high waist that's not too low or too high, just right. If you machine-wash and let them air dry they last for about a year. My first pair just began to have holes in the inner thighs after wearing them at least once or twice a week for a full 365 days. I just bought a black and gray pair and the quality and comfort are consistent. I just shared the link with a couple of friends and they're just as obsessed.

Amazing for athletic thighs

I'm 5'5" 136 lbs. The small fits me great. I do a lot of hiking and running so I have thunder thighs and a big booty but my waist is fairly flat considering my other measurements. It's super hard to find pants for athletic legs - these cargo pants are great. They are a bit short which I like as my legs aren't terribly long. On long legs they'd probably look great too, just more leg showing. Some small details I like: the pockets lie flat and have good closures & the draw string is strong. These seem really high quality. Good for casual outings but would probably hold up on the trail as well.

Alas, not for the tall

Love everything about these pants except the fact that they're tight elastic around the bottom and the length (or lack thereof) means they're hard to wear if you’re tall. I’m 5’8” and they cinch uncomfortably at the bottom of my calves. I wish MH made tall versions of all of their pants! As they don’t, I’m used to them being really short — if these weren’t tight at the bottom of the legs they’d be awesome. Great tough fabric, comfortable waistline with wide elastic, great pockets (and lots of them). Fabric is thick though so they aren’t going to be lightweight in the heat.

Cute and casual

Really cute, casual pant for kicking around in. So far, I've worn these hiking, gardening, and to work. Happy with them in all settings. The grey color looks good enough for the office (well, my casual office, anyway), if you pair with a nicer pair of flats or sandals. Overall, super glad that I tried this style. Would highly recommend. One thing to note... the stretchy waist is comfy, but the elastic does have a tendency to get a little twisted within the waist band. No biggie to straighten out, but something to note if you aren't a fan of stretchy waists.

Love!

Great pants for hiking. They’re comfortable and have some give. I appreciate the length as a shorter person - often “regular” are too long and ankle or cropped pants are at length. These fit a bit above the ankle which definitely works for me. They are a bit thicker so I’ll have to see how they perform in the summer. I did have to exchange as I sized down per the recommendation and that did not work for me. Great customer service!
