Love this top
I have purchased this item before; however, the new version is several inches smaller. If you have purchased this item in the past, definitely go up a size from what you had ordered previously. Love this top for hiking and every day use which is why I am re-purchasing.

4* for make, but 0* for model
I wish I had read all reviews before purchasing. I have a Patagonia approx 10 years old that is well loved and now well worn. So I bought a new top in the same size. Like another reviewer I find the shirt has much less fabric across the bust, the new shirt is unattractively and uncomfortably snug for "the girls" (38DD) compared to the old. For shame Patagonia, for knowingly shorting the material. So I rate this top 4 stars for fabric and construction, but 0 stars for the cut. I don't mind paying above average for a good quality product, I do mind feeling gyped.

Good quality top

Took a chance on the midweight top since I love my thermal weight version so much. The midweight is not as cozy/soft inside as the thermal weight, which is to be expected since it's not supposed to be as warm. While I'm pleased with the top overall, it's cut slightly narrower across the shoulders and in the arm pit area as compared to the thermal weight version, but not so much so that I need to size up.

VERY disappointing, quality going downhill

Patagonia used to make great tops like this, but now fabric is plastic-y, design doesn't shape to and move with body, no more hand-cover options at wrists--just a cheap thumb loop, incredibly ugly and limited range of colors. If Patagonia is environmentaly friendly, I'd say that's the only thing they're doing right these days!

Love it

Weight is perfect for early winter layering (for the crazy REALLY cold days of winter & outside for long periods of time I have heavyweight versions). It's comfortable and matches all I expect from Patagonia products. Very happy to have ordered from REI - you always have what I need and your service is outstanding!

Best Travel shirt

I love this shirt. The high neck keeps the sun/wind/rain off your neck. It works perfectly in wicking sweat if it’s hot and keeping me warm when its cool out. Dries very fast- critical for travel. I’m buying another one. This is a fabulous shirt. Expensive for sure, but I feel I’m getting my value.

Well worth a look!

Great base layer-not too thin and not too thick. I wear it under a down vest in 50* weather and it keeps me warm. As the day warms up I lost the vest and can roll the sleeves and lower the zipper to cool down.

Great cycling / hiking / camping shirt

Love this shirt! Great for cycling (which I use for mostly) and anything outdoors, which includes coffee runs in the neighborhood. The material (at least the green one I got) is smooth against the skin. Would get more!

Great layering piece

Love the way this layers, just wish it was a bit shorter in the torso because it seems a bit long on my body type

Works Great as a Mid-Layer

I absolutely love this top as a mid-layer for hiking. It's very comfortable, well-made, and warm, but still breathes and dries quickly.
