My new favorite jacket
I am plus-sized with most of my weight on my torso, so I am always in danger of looking like I’m wearing a potato sack. With this jacket, however, the first time I put it on my teenagers immediately noticed (independently from one another, I might add) and commented, "Nice jacket, Mom!" If my kids noticed it without being asked, then the designers have done something right. The fit is true to the size chart, so I got the right size first try. The waist can be cinched in, which give the jacket more shape. It is also tall enough for me. I'm 5'9"ish and have a long torso, so sometimes I have problems with waists and sleeves being too short. My 2X jacket is plenty long enough. The sleeves fall just above my knuckles, so I can tuck my hands into the sleeves if I want to, but they are out of the way otherwise. The fabric is pleasant to the touch both inside and out. It has that well-worn feel of a favorite jacket right from the start but also feels sturdy. I expect to wear this jacket for many years.
